Poor Brie

Wade Keller is implying the finish may have been called in the ring from Taker. At least I think he is implying that
-
Huge props to Taker. I'm in shock. That is probably why Cena went over. Wow this will be the talk of the business for quite awhile
-
I've seen that Hunter's little daughters were in the crowd cheering him on. Lol I love stuff like that
-
As an aside besides her great heeling, Stephanie looked incredible tonight. Best she's looked in probably 12 years
-
My God maybe Hunter and Stephanie producing this show is a sign of things to come. Feel good finishes across the board with the right people. Where is Vince?
-
Just came here to post that. Tonight is Vickie's final night with the company. She's left a couple times before but always returned rather quickly. Apparently she is opening up her own business
-
I've always felt that way about Lita. She has a kind of dull sounding voice making everything she says kind of uninteresting even if it isn't. She doesn't have a pro wrestling type voice. Like her speech tonight. Breaking kayfabe and name dropping like crazy but the presentation was off
-
this show can't end any other way other than a combination of Foley, Hogan, Austin and Rock carrying Bryan on his shoulders while leading the crowd in a YES chant, can it? While Stephanie and Hunter are screaming and crying up the ramp. after tonight I fully expect a clique run in during Bryan/HHH. Well everyone but Hall. I'm sure Shawn and Waltman would love to bump around big time for Bryan. Hell I bet Nash would also. I actually want to see that. And I expect it will go down In many ways I can't believe this show is here after months of frustration. I guess it was all worth it if they give us the right ending
-
I don't know what it is but seemingly everyone in this company, full timers, part timers, old guys, authority types, have been killing it on the mic lately. That's if you consider HOF speeches to be "promos". I can't think of a time in recent history where everyone seems so "on" on the mic. As I mentioned before the frustration backstage is probably leading to a lot of cathartic, passionate performances on air. That's the only thing I can really think of
-
I'm guessing Sting will be the new Authority figure to go up against Hunter and Stephanie. I can't see him being a full time wrestler so they need him to have a figurehead type role. Or maybe he'll be part time/contractual appearances like Lesnar
-
what the hell. Here is the match order via Alvarez: Here is the current order: The Shield vs. Kane & New Age Outlaws "Stuff in the Middle" John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker Diva Invitational HHH vs. Daniel Bryan World Title Match Battle Royal spot??? Also, Bryan v HHH is going to have a stip added. No DQ or submission. Sting is scheduled to debut on RAW Monday after a video hyping his arrival at Mania all from Alvarez via Blog of Doom
-
also, Bryan/HHH is scripted as getting the most time on the show (as Dylan and many other have predicted) and that match and the title match are scheduled to be back to back
-
interesting tidbit from Meltz's daily update:
-
don't know if there is any truth to this but apparently Hunter and Stephanie have been pushing for Shane to return to the company for a few months now. Apparently he isn't supposed to have an on air role and will be just backstage at mania. I do smell an angle here though well cageside picked up on it http://www.cagesideseats.com/2014/4/2/5572602/rumor-roundup-april-2-2014-wrestlemania-30-shane-mcmahon-wwe-tv-deal-nxt

Wrestlemania Predictions (It's never too early)
Strummer replied to goodhelmet's topic in Pro Wrestling
If Punk had stayed the promos would have been real interesting. I can't see Punk being happy with Hunter and .Steph constantly one upping him on the mic. How much would Punk been allowed to say? Plus if Punk stayed they still would have had to get Bryan in the title match somehow. There is no way the fans would have accepted a match with Sheamus. You have to wonder seriously what the hell this company was thinking at the Rumble? It's almost as if they have already erased that show from history despite happening less than three months ago -
Now I guess it's being reported they are engaged
-
yeah I was just going to pint out that Vickie got tombstoned and has been beat up before plenty of times by the other women on the show. even Linda McMahon took a (terrible) stunner back in 2005. So did Steph
-
Punk and AJ are engaged. It was the talk of RAW last night backstage. http://www.wrestlezone.com/news/464793-exclusive-aj-lee-and-cm-punk-engaged edit: forget that Meltz says it's not true but they have moved in together in Chicago
-
if this was the Steph of 13/14 years ago she would have been bumping around like crazy for Bryan week after week. With PG environment and an appeal to draw female viewers with a strong female character we have her not getting her receipts (yet)
-
Meltz is claiming the long term plan is for Batista to turn back face. I guess they are hinting at that with his interactions with Hunter
-
Batista yelling "what the fuck" when Hunter's music hit was also pretty great
-
Others have mentioned this but Hunter and Stephanie have reverted back to their previous characters. Steph was right out of 2000-2002 on commentary
-
Bryan just cut a money promo on the post show. They have to air this on TV
-
Holy shit that was some Hennigesque bumping by Hunter in the final segment.
