  3. Any reason why Hogan in 1997 wrestled only four times between the end of Feb. and the title change with Luger in August and never defended the title?
  4. - WWE is still hoping that Stone Cold Steve Austin will get medical clearance for a match at Wrestlemania 30. If he is cleared and interested, an idea has been pitched. The idea is that Stone Cold would fight Triple H at the PPV for control of the WWE. Austin would represent Vince McMahon. Credit: The Wrestling Observer - Here are the latest WWE injury updates on Undertaker, Big Show, Kofi Kingston and Rey Mysterio… Undertaker: As previously reported, Undertaker is still having shoulder issues and did have surgery following WrestleMania. He will rehab and the plan is for him to come back for his annual WrestleMania run. Kofi Kingston: Is expected back in two weeks and will join the WWE's tour of Australia. He is recovering from elbow surgery. Big Show: Scheduled to return on Monday's Raw. Was out due to a knee injury, but was still limping around at the MITB PPV. Show noticeably had lost weight and is looking to drop more. Rey Mysterio: Currently undergoing stem cell treatment to regenerate his knee ligaments. Mysterio is doing this to avoid major surgery and for him to return in three months.
  5. This is a very good article, Chris. If you ever do a refresh of it, you may want to point to sites like on the "data collection" side: http://www.baseball-reference.com http://retrosheet.org The first was started by Sean Forman in the "early" days of internet websites... though for a lot of us, 2000 isn't that early. But at the time, there wasn't a good historical baseball reference site for just basic stats. Sean created that, and a interlinking database to run it. Boom. He has over the years kept adding to it, while also making it rather straight forward and simple. Sean was a stat-guy from the generation of writers after Bill James, writing/working on one of the annual series that came up after him (not Prospectus but the other). RetroSheet is the "historians" site, springing up because Ellias doesn't share shit. The goal was to find the equiv of box scores for every game, and create simple things like splits and game logs that we take for granted. Data from the mid-80s on forward was available from various sources, like Project Scoresheet and it's successor STATS. But earlier stuff... a bitch to get it. Heavy labor, the work of a lot of folks. Now one can look that stuff up. In turn, they shared the info with folks like Baseball-Reference.com rather than keep it locked up like Ellias. We're never going to get *that*. There just isn't enough stuff in old papers, and we're unlikely ever to get inside the WWE archives to fill in everything even for them from the 60s on forward. But as you say, as far as we've come with things like what Graham does with historyofthewwe.com, there's more out there than can be compiled. It's just a real bitch to do it. I always thought that someone would be this for wrestling http://www.baseball-reference.com/friv/elo.cgi I did. https://sites.google.com/site/chrisharringt...wf_elo_rankings I had the idea to work on it for awhile, but when I got my project funded, I finished the initial version. There's also shorter ELO entries I did on WWF Tag Teams, SMW, CMLL (2011&2012), AAA (2008-2012). Very well done. I was talking more about two wrestlers going head-to-head and people getting to vote on who was better, thus making their ELO rating go up or down.

  14. - According to a shocking report, the planned main-event between The Rock vs. John Cena is in jeopardy. Reports indicate there is a powerful voce inside Titan Towers lobbying to cancel one of the biggest matches in WWE history. Wrestling Observer editor Dave Meltzer broke the story on a very newsworthy podcast on his F4WOnline.com website. Meltzer says that there is one very influential voice trying to get the John Cena vs. The Rock match scrapped entirely off of WrestleMania 28. According to Meltz, the idea of canceling the match is not as inconceivable as you may think. Dave Meltzer reports that their WrestleMania 28 match may be in jeopardy as one high-ranking WWE employee with lots of influence is against the big showdown in Miami next year. While this official doesn’t want the match to happen, most feel that it still will take place - A photo surfaced online recently showing what appeared to be The Undertaker with a shaved head. There was speculation as to whether or not the photo was legit but a WWE source has confirmed that Taker – Husky Harris has been removed from WWE.com’s Raw Superstars page. He is, however, still under contract to WWE as he is still listed as a member of Florida Championship Wrestling. Harris last appeared on WWE programming on the January 31, 2011 episode of Raw as he and Michael McGillicutty unsuccessfully challenged Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov for the WWE Tag Team Championship. Following the bout, Randy Orton attacked both individuals for costing him the opportunity to recapture the WWE Championship in an earlier match, and punted Harris in the head. This was a scripted injury to write the second generation wrestler off television and demote him to developmental. Harris resurfaced in FCW as the hockey mask-wearing character Axl Mulligan but has since appeared as himself. – Triple H will be a guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon Friday night. Tune in to NBC at 12:35/11:35 CT to see “The Game” on the hit talk show. – WWE producer Dean Malenko turns 51 years old today. - During Thursday’s WWE investor conference call, WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon spoke about The Rock’s impact on the company’s second quarter financial results, namely WrestleMania 28, which generated over $28 million in revenues. McMahon announced that The Rock will be appearing at “multiple” pay-per-view events aside from WrestleMania 28. The Rock announced last month that he’ll be appearing at the 25th anniversary of Survivor Series in November to confront John Cena, who he will wrestle at WrestleMania 28. McMahon mentioned that The Rock’s involvement at Wrestlemania 28 have resulted in demand for WM28 travel packages being stronger than usual – selling out in just two days. While there was talk of The Rock appearing at SummerSlam in some capacity, scheduling conflicts prevented that from happening. - STAMFORD, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– WWE (NYSE:WWE – News) today announced financial results for its second quarter ended June 30, 2011. To view the complete, detailed breakdown of all the numbers, click here (PDF) http://corporate.wwe.com/documents/PressRe...1_FINAL_000.pdf . Revenues totaled $142.6 million as compared to $106.8 million in the prior year quarter. Operating income was $21.0 million as compared to $10.3 million in the prior year quarter. Net income was $14.3 million, or $0.19 per share, as compared to $6.3 million, or $0.08 per share, in the prior year quarter. There were several items that impacted the comparability of our year-over-year results, primarily the timing of our annual WrestleMania® event and a $3.3 million film impairment charge in the current year quarter. Adjusting for these items in both the current and prior year quarters (as described below), adjusted revenues increased 5% to $142.6 million from $135.6 million in the prior year quarter. Adjusted Operating income declined 2% to $22.9 million from $23.4 million in the prior year quarter. Adjusted Net income was $15.5 million, or $0.21 per share, as compared to $15.1 million, or $0.20 per share, in the prior year quarter. “Through the second quarter, WWE has generated top-line growth across our four business segments led by the strength of WrestleMania. WrestleMania XXVII achieved more than 1 million pay-per-view buys worldwide and reached record levels of both revenue and profit,” stated Vince McMahon, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “Our earnings, however, were constrained by the performance of our movie business, adverse home video sales trends, and the status of our talent development. Key operating metrics, such as average live event attendance and pay-per-view buys showed declines in the second quarter when evaluated on a comparable basis to last year (excluding WrestleMania). But, while our key metrics were down, the gap to our prior year performance continued to diminish. We believe this trend demonstrates that we are making important progress on our talent development and creative initiatives. As we continue to evaluate the potential of different forms of distribution, such as a WWE Network, we are more confident than ever that we can create and monetize content in a variety of existing and new media, and thereby create meaningful incremental value for our shareholders.” Comparability of Results WrestleMania XXVII occurred on April 3, 2011 and contributed $35.9 million of revenues, $16.7 million of profit contribution ($11.4 million, net of tax) and $0.15 of EPS from across various business lines to our current year second quarter results. In conjunction with the promotion of this event, $1.4 million in marketing expenses were recognized in the first quarter of 2011. WrestleMania XXVI occurred on March 28, 2010, and contributed $28.8 million of revenues, $13.1 million of profit contribution ($8.8 million, net of tax) and $0.12 of EPS to our first quarter of 2010 results. In order to facilitate an analysis of our financial results on a more comparable basis, where noted, we have adjusted our results to include the promotional costs (discussed above) in our second quarter of 2011 results and added the impact of WrestleMania XXVI to the second quarter of 2010 results. In addition, the current year quarter included a $3.3 million impairment charge related to our film, That’s What I Am. We have also adjusted our second quarter of 2011 results to exclude the impact of this charge. (See Schedules of Adjustments in Supplemental Information). Please note that our revised film strategy utilizing a self-distribution model may also impact the comparability of results but is not adjusted in the aforementioned schedules. - You can listen to an MP3 of the entire interview by visiting MondayNightMayhem.com. Here are some highlights of what Eric Bischoff said about: Why he does not feel uneasy about the future of iMPACT Wrestling on Spike TV, amidst reports of the network looking to rebrand: “Once again the Internet Wrestling Community has taken ahold of a story that came out a month or two ago about rebranding, and a couple of quotes that were made, and noticed that TNA wasn’t prominently featured in that story, and jumped to conclusions. The truth is iMPACT (Wrestling) is the highest-rated show on Spike TV. iMPACT has been, over the past year, averaging the largest audience that it ever has in the history of the company. The audience is growing unlike other networks & television shows that have very short life cycles and that peak & valley very quickly. 2011 looks like it’s going to be the best year ever for iMPACT. I think the folks at Spike TV are pretty excited about it quite frankly, and I haven’t or heard anything that makes me nervous.” If he believes an effective relationship between TNA & the world of MMA should develop in the near future for the benefit of both entities: “Could it happen? Maybe. Should it happen? I don’t think so. MMA is a sport. It’s a legitimate sport. Professional wrestling is an entertainment property, and the similarities kind of end once you get past that they operate in a Pay-Per-View environment and in an arena environment. Anybody that operates under the assumption that there’s some really cool synergy between MMA & professional wrestling, it’s their opinion, but I don’t share it. Whether or not he has given any thought on returning to commentating: “Actually I have. Not on a regular basis, Mike Tenay is doing a wonderful job. I enjoy commentating. Play-by-play is one of the toughest jobs in the industry. The list of things for you to accomplish & maintain during the course of a broadcast, all while you are creating a story, and calling action, and making things seem larger than life; it’s very difficult job. I miss getting immersed in the story, and the energy, and getting caught up in the moment. It’s at those moments you forget what you’re doing, and you get caught up in the excitement & energy of that, and you do your best work. I miss that - WWE announced its 2nd quarter financial results on Thursday – including the pay–er-view buyrates for WrestleMania, Extreme Rules, Over The Limit and Capitol Punishment. WWE did a total of 1,598,000 pay-per-view buys in the second quarter of 2011, mostly due to the 1,059,000 buys from WrestleMania 27. * Extreme Rules 2011 did 209,000 buys, up from 182,000 in 2010. * Over the Limit 2011 did 140,000 buys, down from 197,000 in 2010. * Capitol Punishment 2011 scored 170,000 buys, up from Fatal 4 Way doing 143,000 in 2010. Comparing the 2011 pay-per-views in this quarter to Q2 2010, if you take WrestleMania 27 out of the equasion, up against the 2010 events, 2011′s 2nd quarter drew 519,000 buys compared to 522,000 in 2010. - Former WWE Superstar Edge did a media call this week to promote his upcoming appearances on the hit SyFy show Haven. Here are some highlights of what Edge said about: Returning To WWE: - He doesn’t know if he wants to but hasn’t been contacted by WWE. He feels it’s too soon at this point to return and says he stuck around for a bit after first retiring for the Christian storyline. - Edge said he’s not in contact with WWE. He said it’s nothing personal, everyone is just busy. He still keeps in contact with his friends who are on the road. Appearing At SummerSlam: - He will be appearing at SummerSlam Axxess but won’t be appearing on the pay-per-view later that night. He said by the time the pay-per-view is going on, he will be headed back to the hotel to wait on Dolph Ziggler and Christian to have some sushi. His Acting Career: - He’s open to more acting projects in the future but isn’t aggressively pursuing them. He made it clear that he didn’t leave wrestling to go into acting and would still be wrestling if he were able to. Working For WWE Behind The Scenes: - Edge said he’s not sure if he would even consider it, maybe in 5 or 10 years. He talked about being that close to wrestling without actually being able to perform might be something he doesn’t enjoy. He added that the travel of an agent job would probably turn him away and said when he travels, his neck hurts, plus he doesn’t want to wake up in a different city anymore. CM Punk’s Recent Storyline & Life After Wrestling: - He hasn’t been following the CM Punk storyline on RAW but does DVR SmackDown to see the Christian storyline. He said since he can’t wrestle, he feels watching it right now may be “a little funky.” He said he’s trying to step into everyday life and not have wrestling be a part of it all the time. He said he will never be ashamed of Edge and where it got him, but doesn’t want to be Edge 24/7. Entering The Hall Of Fame One Day: * Regarding the WWE Hall of Fame, he said he would not turn down the offer and Christian inducting him would be a no-brainer. - WWE SummerSlam is less than two weeks away – and only four matches have been announced for the show thus far: WWE Championship Unification Match John Cena vs. CM Punk No Holds Barred Match for the World Heavyweight Title Christian © vs. Randy Orton WWE Divas Title Match Kelly Kelly © vs. Beth Phoenix Sheamus vs. Mark Henry (Will be announced on SmackDown) According to our WWE sources, the following matches are also very likely to appear on the card: ■The Miz vs. Rey Mysterio ■Alberto Del Rio vs. Kofi Kingston ■Dolph Ziggler vs. Alex Riley ■Ezekiel Jackson vs. Cody Rhodes ■Daniel Bryan vs. Wade Barrett
  15. Results from Peoria, Illinois last night as Punk and Cena had their first match since MITB * WWE Champion John Cena vs. WWE Champion CM Punk ended in no contest as Alberto Del Rio came out and took out Punk. Punk ended up giving Del Rio the GTS and Cena hit him with the Attitude Adjustment.

  18. – WWE officials went to great lengths to keep the arrivals of both CM Punk and Jim Ross a secret before they aired on Raw. Both talents were hidden from almost everyone in the organization. They were sent to different hotels from everyone else in fear that someone would see them and relay it online. Neither came into the Hampton Coliseum until they were given the cue to appear, both being sequestered somewhere on the premises. They were not even on the sixth and final script for the show and aside from those who had to directly interact with them on television, all performers weren’t aware of either of talent being in Hampton, Virginia. Ironically, the arena itself was advertising Punk for the event. – Tyler Reks, who has portrayed a heel character since debuting last October on the SmackDown brand, went on Twitter to defend himself for congratulating Rey Mysterio on his WWE Championship victory on Monday’s Raw. Reks wrote, “Lotta talk about me celebrating Rey’s win with everyone last night. Bottom line is that Rey is my friend & I wanted to say congrats. No crime in that.” – WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race is advertised to host SmackDown live events on August 27th, 28th and 29th in the state of Missouri as WWE stops in Cape Girardeau, Springfield and St. Joseph. - Former WWE champion Mick Foley was backstage at Tuesday’s WWE SmackDown taping from Philadelphia – and we can now confirm that Foley is in negotiations to return to the company. Foley was asked today by a fan on Twitter whether he would consider working for WWE again. Foley responded: “Sure, I would – I’m considering it right now.” - SmackDown star the Big Show is taking a few months off to rest his body. At 39 years old, Big Show is at the point where he can prolong his career by taking time off every now and then for the benefit of his long term health. - There have been talks of turning Sheamus babyface and having him heel with Mark Henry this fall. - Here are some recent WWE attendance figures: * RAW on July 22nd in Springfield, MA drew 4,000 fans for $120,000. * RAW on July 23rd in Wildwood, NJ drew 6,000 fans for $195,000. * SmackDown on July 23rd in Pittsburgh, PA drew 4,300 fans for $156,000. * RAW on July 24th in Upper Marlboro, MD drew 3,300 fans for $112,000. * SmackDown on July 24th in White Plains, NY was a sellout of 4,300 fans for $180,000. * Monday Night RAW on July 25th from Hampton, VA was a sellout with 8,000 fans. - Over the past several months, there have been various reports claiming that Royal Rumble and Money in the Bank winner Alberto Del Rio has been slated to win the WWE championship a few times this year. Thus far, those plans changed each time and he has yet to capture WWE’s top prize. As noted in an earlier report, WWE’s original plan for Summerslam was for Alberto Del Rio to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase and challenge John Cena for the WWE title at SummerSlam. With SummerSlam taking place from Los Angeles, WWE saw dollar signs in their top heel Mexican star wrestling for the WWE title at a major pay-per-view in a strong hispanic market. Additionally, WWE had discussed the idea of Del Rio holding the WWE championshpi heading into the company’s tour of Mexico in October. Plans for Del Rio at Summerslam changed when the decision was made to bring back CM Punk sooner than expected. According to Dave Meltzer, this is at least the 4th time Del Rio had been scheduled to win the WWE or World Title and it didn’t end up happening. - Monday’s RAW featured Triple H’s first night in charge as well as the surprise return of WWE title holder CM Punk. According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there were actually six different scripts written for RAW – one of which would have resulted in Triple H laying out CM Punk with a pedigree. Although the obvious scenario would be for WWE to capitalize on CM Punk’s recent popularity and push him to the moon, most of the scenarios presented for Monday’s RAW were not to get Punk over, but to emphasize Triple H’s new role as Vince McMahon’s successor. Prior to WWE settling on what we saw unfold on Monday night, the original plan for CM Punk’s return was for him to get attacked and pedigreed by Triple H. Alberto Del Rio then would have come out, cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase against John Cena at SummerSlam. While this would have certainly put Triple H over as a major heel and led to an eventual program with a babyface CM Punk cooler heads prevailed and the angle of Punk getting squashed on the night of his return was scrapped. - Tyrone Evans (a/k/a Michael Tarver), who was released last month from his contract with WWE following several months of inactivity, posted a bizarre diatribe on his Twitter account today accusing John Cena of feeling threatened by his talent and intentionally fracturing his arm with a chair during a pay-per-view event last year to put him out of commission. The founding Nexus member also alleges that Cena laughed in his face afterwards. Here is his post in its entirety: “Family im a baaad man YAHWEH NISSI ,, soooooooo stop me if you heard this one for starters I went from sleeping in a car to being on 2 Wrestlemanias fun fact there soooooo this guy has a dream job but an adv he meets his dream girl assn db on his dream job he was to be away From his kids so he makes it work while spendiing 3 years trying to get his daughter to tampa to live him away from addcict mother “Now during this dream job he fights trains show crazy potential on the mic regarded as one the best ever in developmental so he moves on ,,,To nxt and raw where he is burried on tv treated like trash back stage to the point where a certain top superstar takes notice of this Guy building steam with his promos back stage and begins to feel threatend so one night on a ppv the champ purposely fractures this Persons arm with a chair and after.the match backstage laughs in his face about it and walks off you know im talking about you just cant see See him anyway he takes out threats to his throne back stage to the point where the even get released from their dream job and ironicaly This guys dream wife leaves him tthreatening to take everything from him a month later on the se day his daughter was to move in with With them now his daughter is hysterical beyond help and has to be sent back home after three years of fighting and one week there “Hmmmmm makes you wonder is it worth it because in your opinions WHO DO YOU KNOW WHO IS BAD.ENOUGH TO SCARE A BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY So I saw to all things mention ME ,,,,,,,,IM THAT BAD MAN ,,,,,,,,,,,YAHWEH NISSI” – Sarita, who announced three weeks ago via Facebook that she had suffered facial paralysis, continued to wear a protective mask at this past weekend’s TNA Wrestling live events as well as last night’s Impact Wrestling taping in Orlando, Florida. Her condition, however, has improved in the meantime. Sarita is advertised to appear at this weekend’s live events in Texas since the organization is targeting the Hispanic demographic with Mexican America and Sangriento. She will also appear with AJ Styles at Direct Auto Insurance 6630 South Congress Avenue Austin, Texas tomorrow from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – TNA Wrestling’s annual Turning Point pay-per-view event is scheduled for November 13, 2011 at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. – Gunner and Murphy are advertised to appear at EAW Wrestle War V, which takes place Friday, August 26, 2011 at the National Guard Armory in Wentworth, North Carolina. – Multiple sources believe Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero, who perform as The Kings of Wrestling for Ring of Honor, will conclude their obligations with the organization next month and join WWE immediately thereafter. Though they are advertised for the August 13th Ring of Honor television taping in Chicago Ridge, Illinois, one source says it’s possible they will debut for WWE—bypassing developmental—before the end of the month. There are also rumors that they could be involved in CM Punk’s current storyline. – A profile on John Laurinaitis, WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent Relations, has been added to the Alumni section on WWE.com. Contrary to CM Punk’s derisive remarks concerning the corporate executive during a pseudo-shoot promo last month on Raw, Laurinaitis is referred as “a respected WWE employee” in his bio. His previous life as “a successful sports-entertainer” in both Japan and the United States is also acknowledged. – WWE’s Capitol Punishment pay-per-view event featuring R-Truth vs. John Cena drew approximately 200,000 buys, according to business figures released for the month of June 2011 on their corporate website. The preliminary figure is up from 143,000 buys for the previous June’s pay-per-view event, Fatal 4-Way. Capitol Punishment was also up from the previous month’s pay-per-view, Over the Limit, which drew approximately 150,000 buys. Cena was also featured in the main event, but against The Miz in an “I Quit” Match. – Sin Cara, who is currently serving a 30-day suspension due to his first violation of WWE’s Talent Wellness Program, is advertised for an event WWE.com has just listed; a SmackDown taping in St. Louis, Missouri taking place September 27. Regarding the masked grappler’s status with WWE, many employees are under the impression that management “had decided to cut bait on him.” Creative wasn’t informed until a day or two prior to Money in the Bank that he needed to be written off television and were also told to not “put any thought into any scenarios for him going forward.” A final decision regarding his immediate future has not been made. - The ratings are in for Monday’s episode of WWE RAW. The July 25th edition of WWE RAW drew 3.2 rating with 4.8 million people watching. A trend worth noting is that show opened with a 3.01 in the first hour and climbed to a 3.4 for the final hour. This week’s viewership was virtually even with last week’s post-Money in the Bank RAW. - WWE diva Maryse Ouellet has filed for a permanent restraining order against an “extremely disturbing and delusional” fan who she claims is obsessed with her and has threatened to “take her to heaven” with him. According to a report on TMZ.com, the freakshow in question is 61-year-old Lee Silber, who Maryse claims has sent “numerous terrifying letters to my home and left more than 50 voicemails on my personal cell phone all of which are extremely disturbing and delusional.” Maryse tells the L.A. County Superior Court that she fears for her life and wants the stalker kept away from her at any cost. She’s due back in court on August 3rd to follow up on the restraint order request. - Kevin Nash is the latest WWE personality to give praise to CM Punk, offering the former WWE champion his protection services: “Still up trying to unwind from todays shoot.2-3 days left on Rock of Ages. Enjoying Raw, Punk doing a great job. Punk if you want back up you got my number. Your worth me going back on the road full time. Offer stands understand if you want to go it alone.” He added that he misses that rush he felt when he made a surprise appearance at the Royal Rumble. Nash is currently filming the big-screen adaptation of the Broadway show Rock of Ages, which stars Tom Cruise, Mary J. Blige, Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones.. - Alberto Del Rio has once again been victimized by WWE’s haphazard booking as his long planned match with John Cena at SummerSlam was nixed hours before last night’s Raw telecast in Hampton, Virginia. Creative overhauled the match line-up for SummerSlam Monday afternoon after deeming their creative plans for CM Punk for the event as “awful.” Del Rio was effectively removed from the title picture as a result. WWE’s braintrust felt that had Punk not been slotted in the title match, his much talked about storyline would extinguish. Though Del Rio had the rug pulled out from under him once again, creative has the 34-year-old pegged for a title run this fall. WWE announced today they will present a landmark tour across Mexico this October and a number of high ranking officials feel the countryman returning as a conquering hero will garner a great deal of media attention. Meanwhile, The Miz was at one point scheduled to reign supreme in the WWE Championship Tournament on Raw. Creative later changed their mind and the WWE Championship was awarded to Rey Mysterio, who got to hold the belt for approximately an hour and a half. - WWE’s “new CEO” Triple H turns 42 years old today. - Monday’s RAW featured 40 minutes and 6 seconds of in-ring action, up a bit from the week before.

  21. Does anyone know of a website what you can plug names in and it randomize the matchups like seen in the link above?
  22. That is exactly what I wanted to do. basketballreference.com has the same thing. I have no idea how to set something like that up. Would any know how it would work?
  23. You bring up all the points as to why this would be so difficult to start. If I were to do it, it would be TV and PPV only. But with so many TV shows, that would be tricky as well. And with beating 5 mid-carders
  24. Sent an email to Graham Gawthon of thehistoryofwwe.com and this is what he said. "I'm open to it if that's a project you'd like to take on. I'd say TV and PPV wins are a better representation of who's getting pushed and who isn't. House shows like to mix that up a lot more." TV and PPV would be much more managable, but I would also like to to house show and have a full year to go by. What makes it hard is that it isn't like the NFL or NBA in that there is no new season where everything is reset. I could start in 1963 WWWF, but all of those results are not out there. Where would be a good starting point to start everyone at 1500?
