  1. They were downplaying it as it happened in fairness. Heard that Video *cough* . Tommy merely said that MMA is open to being worked.
  2. The pure MMA FAN is an interesting beast on that site. Most of the MMA fans seem spilt between MMA blogger types and those who protest too much about their hatred of current Wrestling (WWE) whose veil drops every two months during a hot angle or whatever. It is somewhat what cool to be seen to dislike Wrestling on that forum. A lot of people fashion themselves as mini Meltzers focusing on buys, buys, buys rather than love of the game. I will say honestly couldn't name a layman MMA fan there. Especially these days given the six weeks hiatus and MMA cooling off in general. Essentially MMA is a ever decreasing protest vote IMO.
  3. Dave has found a new home it seems: http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/782969...8212-bring-down
  4. But in meetings though yuck.
  5. Speaking of Rey and that MLW series of interviews Court makes a not so veiled reference to Michael Hayes referring to Rey by a number of racial slurs in creative meetings in Part 3 that went up this morning/last night.

    Brock is back

Going by his WWE profile Brock will be rocking a hybrid look and will be displaying sponsors: Not very Vince McMahon or Kevin Dunn. I guess it is just due to prior contractual requirements.
  7. Thought this was a niffy promotion idea. That I would do never, ever do myself : Mn.jpg Just an elaborate way to block out Sin Cara?
  8. I know the gimmick is that he isnt an OUTSIDER. But I was so sad to see him conscripted into being another character in the WWE Universe.
  9. Yeah they have decided to do the right thing and donate ALL profits.
  10. Kind of bummed that on the anniversary of his death the allocation of profits from a tribute shirt is the main focus point. http://barbershopwindow.com/larrysweeney.htm Some of Larry's friends are supporting the sale while others arent believing Barbershop shouldnt profit. Barbershop window stated the following:

    Brock is back

Really wish Hall of Pain era Mark Henry was still around. Him and Brock would have been a piece of business. Also it is a same there isnt that much stream on Ziggler and Swagger.
  13. Aprils Fools. What Meltzer said:

    Brock is back

I wonder what the quarter hour will be as there was some severe pauses and thinking out loud points during promo can easily see causal with short attention spans turning the channel.
  15. I'm going to watch it tonight, but how crazy excited was he over it? * Five stars * Hard pressed to list three Wrestlemania matches better * While acknowledging the lack of eyeballs the best star making match in years * Probably the best 'Wrestlemania Weekend' match ever Haven't seen it due to the streaming nonsense and wanting to watch Wrestlemania with a clean palate.
  16. I predict MAJOR steam coming from ears based off Meltzer's comments about the match on the latest podcast
  17. RD wrote the first half and Bryan the second. That's how they tackled it as they never communicated face to face during the writing of the book.
  18. Hopefully he'll make a trip or two to FCW
  19. From PWI: Good for him.
  20. Lagana had iPPV live production down to a science before he left ROH for TNA.
  21. MLW Radio with Konnan and Court Bauer Part 1 http://traffic.libsyn.com/mlwradio/konnanpart1edit1.mp3 Not trying to vague or a prick tease but this is a must listen Part 1 is a pre-podcast chat they decided to put up. Never knew all the Samoans were going to all jump to WCW in the 90s and cut ties with Vince.
  22. Why in the world would Vince tell people to put on a good show for Wrestlemania during a social media meeting? "Alright crew, I want you to go out there and have a great match...six days from now. And now some more about hashtags..." C'mon Dave. More like wrestlers reacting to Dave about stuff like this:
  23. Shall we have at it? It's kind of hard to tell what Meltzer means when he says that, though. Like, is he talking about money drawn? Or is he talking simply about recognizable people that are probably in the Hall of Fame? Are we just talking about tippy-top guys like Steve Austin & the Rock, or are we going down and including people like Roddy Piper? Ya know? He was talking spur of the moment late into podcast conducted late night/early morning after covering Raw. So yeah. Dave is fairly considered when making business/historical statements regardless but you need to take context into account. My belief is that it was Terry Funk.
