  1. Hum... what ? Seriously, the R&R Express aren't in already ? What a complete joke this entire thing is. Great that you've took the time to understand why they arent in...
  2. Ostensibly as of January, yes. Unless the percentage is out of a total that includes those who are deceased and not contactable as opposed to the number of those contacted. And depends on if developmental guys who were never called up are included. According to "Road Dogg" Brian James Armstrong except for one all his brothers and himself have used the program. What is the story here Bix? Is it that unbelievable to you? Do you think WWE are double or triple counting the Scott Halls of this world? Going on a witch hunt to find an exhaustive list of 60 isnt really in the spirit of things either.
  3. Remember when Chris Harris was the star of AMW?
  4. Ends justifies the means to a certain degree here. Wasnt happy over the booking the past week but as a standalone moment the post match was fantastic.
  5. Todd Martin voiced his disappointment on how Dave handled (or didnt handle) the Dr Wagner Jr/Sr screw up half way or so into his show on the site with Bryan. Nothing new & almost word for word what people here said. His email about it to Dave got no sold too.
  6. This isnt the first time that has happened it seems to me that Vinny loves lazy find and replace alls
  7. Interesting notes from the Miami Herald:
  8. Read as: "He is a good man and deep down he loves me"
  9. Dave on the LAW radio show said yesterday that this week is HOF issue week and he is writing MULTIPLE bios. Update from Dave:
  10. So are we discussing Best Wrester or Most Outstanding Wrestler or both here?
  11. Really hard to choose a Dec/Jan-Oct spanning great body of work. This may initially shock but I would have to go with Randy Orton due to having interesting matches with different opponents. Sadly I havent followed up on his return to Dragon Gate but I wanted to have Tozawa's babies in the spring during his US tour. Japanese wrestling is teh suck seems to be a near uniform opinion here.
  12. Flu-like symptoms carny for cocaine problem? Who re-worded that? They made it sound far, far more dire than Dave did. PWTorch. Likely James Caldwell. Wade Keller was pushing the talking point a number of weeks ago that people are comparing Vince now to Verne at the end of the AWA. But Wade made it completely clear that he wasn't alleging senility in regards to Vince. He left it open to what was the root was perhaps for legal reasons. But Wade did discuss the idea Vince was bored with Wrestling while also feeling really resentful of all his non-Wrestling projects failing & not personally having mainstream or TV industry respect.
  13. Flu-like symptoms carny for cocaine problem?
  14. I think Rikishi's shoot interview. It was deeply kayfabed on & off TV in this unspoken "Undertaker is a locker room leader"/Samoans will fuck you up way. I think some members had MSK tattoos too. More drinking buddies than anything like the Kliq being marks and throwing hand signals on TV. I really think the three letters were MSK but Ive found nothing online.
  15. Wasnt that the "MSK"?
  16. Oh yeah I dont want to take this thread off in a tangent and I know this is primarily a North American forum. So I dont know how much of a big deal Formula 1 is in America but I watched the Blu Ray release of the extraordinary documentary "Senna" among the stories told in it was the Alain Prost vs Ayrton Senna rivalry back to back with the Greatest Rivalries documentary. In it Prost had an ally/friend in Formula 1 President and fellow Frenchman Jean-Marie Balestre. Balestre essentially screwed Senna manipulating the World Championship in favor of Prost, as Senna was disqualified from race victory, fined, and suspended. I couldnt help but make the parrell between the two documentaries. On Senna it is one of those truly great documentaries that works on the level of fan and non-fan alike. Highly recommended if you like documentaries in the ESPN 30 for 30 vein.
  17. Also 1995 would have been SOOOOO much better if the Kliq was a benign and cooperative force politically too.
  18. Fabulous write up, very well written.
  19. Halloween Havoc 1994 revisited.
  20. I thought it wasn't out yet? Uncle Torrence has it. wink wink
  21. With all credit to Meltzer's Montreal timeline and Bret's book but as an oral history their Greatest Rivalaries DVD is ridiculously compelling it is like a 30 for 30 ESPN documentary. Nevermind the interplay between the two. Highest possible recommendation
  22. Poor Dave. This week on the F4W board has been hilarous with people (largely dont seem to understand the HOF) arguing to the death over Sting's candidacy with some really marky stuff. THEN Someone bumps an old megathread about Big Daddy and he finally snaps:
  23. Dave, Bryan and Bruce Mitchell did a HOF show yesterday.
  24. Are you sure he didnt mean Eddy and not Edge?
