Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
Sherri is now at ringside with Douglas. She was all over the place in '93. Douglas wins when Terry Funk throws in the towel. Funk ends up turning on Smith after the match for throwing the towel back at him. The streak of me never seeing JT Smith hit a single offensive move continues. Kevin Ridge
So that is four promotions for Sherri in the year right? Funk was not impressed with Smith and throws in the towel and beats him up after match too.
PeteF3
Interesting premise for a heel turn, rather lamely executed by Funk. Styles continues to be an excruciating listen, overreacting to every little thing. Funk is laying in a few kicks and Styles is calling it with the same tone of voice as Sabu breaking tables. garretta
This would have meant more if I'd been given a reason to care about JT Smith. As it is, this was just another case of Terry being middle-aged and crazy. I liked it much better when he was running down Bullet Bob Armstrong in SMW. I can actually see Shane and Sherri as a good fit. Unfortunately, Heyman didn'r have enough money to pay her to stick around, and never really would. Francine turned out to be a great choice to manage Shane, but her original qualification most likely was that Heyman could get her cheaply. soup23
Not a great turn by Funk as him putting the boots to Smith didn't really have the sympathy I think Paul E thought it would. I think the problem is that Smith is indeed a total loser that can't chain together any offense. An audience can love a lovable loser but not a hopeless case.
