Last few minutes from Mid South Coliseum, for the WWF tag titles. Always cool seeing WWF babyfaces as heels in this environment. Techno Team 2000 does a run-in for the DQ! Can't get much more surreal than that.

I think this was around the time that both WWF developmental talent and WCW guys like the Gambler and Kenny Kendall were in USWA at the same time.

Since this is probably the only mention of Tekno Team 2000 anywhere on these yearbooks, I thought I'd relate this story. I was there at the Evansville Coliseum on the second to last USWA card there ever. I look up into the empty balcony and there is Chad Fortune. A very despondent, somber-looking, Chad Fortune, eating Wendy's chilli. He truly looked like if he had a gun, he'd have done the deed right there. I didnt bother him, needless to say.

Cool to see this. PG-13 returned the favor and had a return match against the Gunns on Raw. The Gunns are managed by Downtown Bruno in a weird visual. Tekno Team 2000 run in for the finish, dressed in jeans rather than usual futuristic attire. They sucked, but I do remember them getting an incessant amount of coverage in the sheets and WWF Hotline throughout their developmental process, only for them to be saddled with a go-nowhere gimmick and disappear after about 2 months.
