Loss Posted January 17, 2012 Author Report Posted January 17, 2012 Sullivan and Jimmy Hart pledge their support for Sting. This REALLY seemed to be building to a heel turn, but again, Sting was the popular one, so it wasn't going to work. But I'm sure the idea was being tossed around. I'd love to know for sure. Quote
El-P Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 I don't feel like they were building to a Sting heel turn. Seems more like a tease to me and a way to put more interest and complexity in the storylines on top. I loved this whole Sting/Luger face/heel old friendship. That was shades of grey, not the immature bullshit delivered during the Attitude Era. Quote
PeteF3 Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 Okerlund accuses Jimmy Hart of being the "original Benedict Arnold." I thought Benedict Arnold was the original Benedict Arnold. Hart points out that Sting got shunted to the background when Hulk's new best friend Randy Savage appeared on the scene--nice little play off of a real-life power struggle. Quote
