Loss Posted December 18, 2012 Author Report Posted December 18, 2012 Llanes poses in random places and we get footage from some sparring sessions while a WCW-like knockoff of Cameo's "Word Up" plays. Quote
PeteF3 Posted January 5, 2013 Report Posted January 5, 2013 This is a little cooler than the Rayo vignette, as we get some sparring action as the announcer recites his favorite holds and his family history. El Gusano means "The Maggot," in case we weren't clued in that this was a bad guy. Quote
soup23 Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 Awesome wave from Llanes and him looking over Mexico City. This was strange in tone. Quote
Kevin Ridge Posted February 3, 2013 Report Posted February 3, 2013 Lots of posing and flexing. Some wrestling action though in the gym. Quote
garretta Posted February 12, 2015 Report Posted February 12, 2015 I liked that they showed Llanes as a capable wrestler even though he's supposed to be a rudo. It's rare that American promotions emphasize that kind of thing in introductory vignettes, even with guys like Ted DiBiase and Curt Hennig, who are two of the best heel workers in the world. "The Maggot", eh? Sounds like an inductee for turncoat Slaughter's "Camel Corps". I'm enjoying these vignettes more than the lucha matches, believe it or not. Quote
drew wardlaw Posted May 18, 2016 Report Posted May 18, 2016 I dug this a lot. Good poses, good flexes, decent striation and vascularity, can't complain. Quote
GSR Posted February 2, 2017 Report Posted February 2, 2017 We see Llanes looking out over the skyline holding his finger up to indicate he’s number one, posing and flexing, and working on his submission holds in the wrestling ring. Lovely robe he’s wearing at the end of this! Quote
