Loss
Clip from last week's TV where Dutch Mantell gets in Stacy Carter's face about Lawler losing at Mid South Coliseum. She tries to slap him and he accuses her of "domestic abuse"! Lawler is out to break this up and they have a pretty spirited impromptu match with some great brawling and Dutch in street clothes. Dutch ends up whipping Lawler with Shoo Baby but takes off when Lawler starts making a comeback. "I don't know what's wrong with Dutch Mantell. I think all that hair must have gotten tangled around his brain!" -- Lance Russell Dutch sends in a taped promo explaining his side of everything and makes clear that Lawler doesn't intimidate him. This WWE Actor Wayne Keown has still got it!
Kevin Ridge
Mantell confronts Stacy regarding previous match with Lawler. Jerry ends up coming out and we get a quick brawl between the two. Lance tries to explain this all in that Mantell’s hair is affecting his brain. Why he is one of the best. soup23
Feels really dated going back to USWA but Dutch and Jerry do their best to keep this heated even though its a rehash for the 25 time of this feud. Dutch has always been a great master storyteller.
PeteF3
We're just about nearing the end here--Larry Burton had already run off Dave Brown and temporarily ran off Lance Russell, which was explained on TV as Lance refusing to work with Dutch Mantell. Mantell took the opportunity to repeatedly show clips of him beating Jerry Lawler in 1982, then attempted to impose his will on Stacy before Lawler makes the save. A really good, heated brawl breaks out, which ends with Lawler and referee Downtown Bruno getting the Shoo Baby treatment. Dutch sends in a video promising to embarrass Lawler in front of his few remaining friends. It's definitely a throwback, to-the-well feud that in some ways is just as bad as WCW rehashing Piper and Hogan, but Dutch and Lawler are far more compelling in their old age than Roddy is in his.
