Poor JJ still can't figure out exactly what Sting wants in order to come back to WCW. This is his last chance. He has no new contract offer. He just wants to know what Sting wants. Sting points to fans chanting for Hogan and signs for Hogan vs Sting. Sting holds up a Hulk vs Sting sign. The crowd is going insane and this is one of the most impressive and cool things I've ever seen in wrestling. I love this for the crowd reaction, but wow does WCW look stupid.

JJ is embarrassed by not being able to sign Sting to a match contract. Dillon gives Sting a deadline to talk to him. Maybe WCW’s struggles against the NWO comes down to how they are managed/run by someone like Dillon who comes off dumb not being able to determine what Sting wants. The crowd is clear on what Sting wants which is cool that they didn’t have to be forced into this chant.

Week four and JJ and Gene are still dumbfounded. Sting comes out to a nuclear reaction and holds up a sign making it clear he wants Hulk. I remembered the building being electric this night but man is this crowd hot.

Maybe we should have just run Birmingham every single week. They can alternate between Raw and Nitro so as not to burn the crowd out too quickly. Sheesh. Dillon still comes off as a dumbshit, though, not that that's anything new with his run.
