Nice Nitro-style tag match. It's not much better than solid since the Can-Ams aren't really good heels, but the layout of the match and execution of a lot of tag team staples was really well done. It's a shame Furnas and LaFon didn't really get over in the U.S. They weren't as good as they were in All Japan in years prior, but that doesn't mean they weren't worth watching at all.

Solid action but I agree that Krofatt/Lafon arent the best heel duo at controlling a match and that prevented some of the sympathy that could have pushed on Spike/Mikey. I do like seeing occasional ECW house show clips on these yearbooks.

Fun little match but LaFon & Furnas have clearly fallen off a lot--a combination of age, wear and tear, and never really recovering from their car wreck. The goal of this run was for Heyman to get them over so they could come back to the WWF revitalized, a la Al Snow next year. But it never really happened. Here, the action is pretty clearly being carried by Mikey & Spike, so we get a good opening match anyway. It's good to see ECW carrying the torch for traditional (and not-so-traditional) tag wrestling as it's dying in the Big Two.
