I know the yearbooks do some of this, but I was curious if there was maybe a more in-depth version where each month of each year in the 90s' (and 80's could be) for all of Puro has a "best of" to see from that month...some of the stuff wouldnt be yearbook worthy, but could be worthy of seeing...

I am guessing this doenst exist and I am still REALLY new in Puro so I couldnt do it...but figured I'd take a shot!

But again, between the 80s sets, the yearbooks and Ditch's download sites, you can piece together a pretty good approximation. Unless you want to watch all the TV from a promotion, that's about as deep as you're going to need or want to go.

I understand, believe me. If you really want to go deep on individual years, I'd recommend New Japan '83-'84, '86-'89 and All Japan '89-'93. Though with '80s New Japan, the DVDVR set really does do a lot of the work for you. All Japan was pretty staggering in its week to week quality, especially from '91 to '93. Very few weekly shows without at least one excellent match during those years.

I am more focused right now on NJPW from 95-99, mostly the G1 and Heavyweight feuds....as good as AJPW was during this era, and GOD DAMN it was...NJPW, at least to me, holds its own with the main event stuff....

Bob Barnett used to do four-hour "Best of Japan [insert month]" tapes in the early 90s, which are still listed on his site. They were more "biggest matches that didn't suck", but might be useful as a guide.
