I may or may not freestyle during the commercial breaks about what happened before the commercial breaks (example: HHH be punkin Benoit, the crowd sayin "aw", I look to the fridge to see if my frozen bread thaw, something something the law, yada yada tim mcgraw.... hee haw... jaw...)

I may or may not be talking to myself throughout the night.

I will, most definitely, be quoting "Party all the time".

She never comes home at night, because she's out romancin. I wish she'd bring some of that love home to me.

Ortons promos are so much better when you imagine him in acting in porn.

Jakes promos are so not for this time and fan.

Lies.

I just heard about this and I'm really pissed that I didn't catch it. Did he come out to his classic theme music, or did they roll out the super-badass "Trust Me" heel music?

It was his swankturkular 80's music.

Jakes promos were straight up, and this one tonight was near flawless. But he doesn't pace the way fans are used to. He uses pauses, and the fans are conditioned to cheer during pauses, but his pauses didn't call for cheers. His promos weren't filled with catch phrases and people didn't sing along with him. The WWE should try to recondition their fan to those kind of promos because they are so much better, but Vince is a mark for the pop so it won't happen.

Jake was used well, I can see them subtly turning Randy.

Kane seems to being built up to win the Money in the Bank match.

Tomko bleeding.... hardway or not?

I still can't believe I missed Jake, but man, the Rockers for one night only. It's sad that a crackhead and a never was are making me mark out more than anything on WWE TV has in years.

Yeah, just imagine if the WWE would have made Jake Roberts the mouthpiece for Sean O'Haire's "big" run a year or two ago, rather than pulling in a senile Roddy Piper.

Jake sounded a lot like Hawk, though. He didn't sound nearly as badass as he used to.

Marty Jannety, OTOH, looked fabulous.

I particularly liked how the camera was right in the middle of the "conversation" between the ref and Benjamin, like somebody was screaming "IT'S A WORK IT'S A WORK HE'S NOT REALLY HURT" on some subliminal sound track. I haven't seen a directorial flair like that since the camera just sat on Bruce Willis when Haley Joel Osment said "Sometimes, they don't even know they're dead."

Seriously, where's Heyman at? The man was a master of the "worked shoot."

MARTY FUCKING JANNETTY!>!>!>>?!??!?!?!??!?!??!?!

I was flipping through the channels when I saw this. I smirked... and then turned back to 24.

Oh, and I saw most of Edge/Shelton. That was good shit if I do say so myself.
