Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
We join with Spike doing the pescado off the ladder to the floor with a bunch of guys catching him. Sandman takes a ridiculous chairshot. Jack Victory comes out after Dreamer scores the pin and nails him with a guitar. New Jack makes the save with a shopping cart full of plunder. Childs
I've come to hate ECW. I don't even know what this was supposed to be. It's hilarious that Heyman identified ECW with post-punk music, because this was the most bloated crap imaginable. It's like the worst possible hair metal in somebody's out-of-touch idea of punk clothing. And from now on, I'm skipping any segment involving Tommy Dreamer. One of the least likable babyfaces in wrestling history.
soup23
The faces finally get the win over the Dudleys which is some vindication for Tommy on Beulah. I really hated the four corners chair legdrop spot including the referee. Victory comes out afterwards again and cracks people with a guitar until New Jack comes and clears house with his cart full of weapons. How many times is that scenario going to happen in 98? I did like the ending shot with all three babyfaces on ladders posing with Spike stomping around below them.
PeteF3
I guess this served its purpose, but I cared about it far less than Taz/Bam Bam. I don't know if it's a sign of total desperation or just sheer barely-hidden contempt for his audience that Paul E. is attempting to push Jack Victory and his giant ass as a threat in 1998. Absolutely laughable. Memphis Power Pro wouldn't resort to trying to foist him on their audience as a top heel.
