Val Venis is out to confront Dustin again. He has another film to reveal to Dustin, this time called How Terri Got Her Groove Back. Val Venis got progressively less over the more angles he was booked in, and Venis being portrayed as the babyface in this is ridiculous.

Yep, I really fucking hate this every time and feel continuously sad for Dustin.

I'm not sure why Val being the babyface in this is so surprising - a face cuckolding a heel has frequently been treated with sympathy (see Dusty-Baby Doll-Tully, Hogan-Liz-Savage). Is it a great angle? No, but Val isn't unique.

Yeah, but this really seems unsolicited, because Dustin dumping Terri is like ancient history and most viewers in 1998 weren't even watching, as a look at the Raw ratings would indicate. At least Baby Doll and Liz seemed like they needed rescuing from bad situations. And Venis is *so* annoyingly one-note as a character--he's doing Triple H dick-joke shtick that we've already seen, but that's literally all he has going for him as a personality.
