Loss Posted September 22, 2014 Author Report Posted September 22, 2014 X-Pac is out to confront Shawn Michaels. He says he's going to beat Shawn's ass. Shawn is slapping hands and acting like a babyface in his intro, which makes no sense. Shawn tells Pac he's had chunks of guys bigger than him in his stool. He says if he even looks at Shawn the wrong way, he'll send him down to "that money pit in Atlanta" so fast his head will spin. He makes an X-Pac-Shamrock match for the European title tonight but never really explains why he turned the week before. Shawn pretty firmly put him in his place. Quote
Zenjo Posted October 9, 2014 Report Posted October 9, 2014 Nobody could put over his fellow wrestlers quite like Shawn Michaels. That was why it was a great idea to bring him back even when he couldn't work anymore. So he could run down people and they wouldn't be able to get any payback. Quote
fxnj Posted November 1, 2014 Report Posted November 1, 2014 What was the point of this? The concept of a non wrestler burying a young prospect is bad enough in itself but the deal with Shawn claiming the DX music as his own really made X Pac look second rate Quote
soup23 Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 Shawn basically informs Pac here of the pecking order and sends a reminder to everyone that he created DX. Quote
PeteF3 Posted November 5, 2016 Report Posted November 5, 2016 All that and this is hurt more by the fact that Shawn does his full entrance and gets in the ring, where X-Pac fails to actually do anything to him after declaring he was going to whip his ass. Why couldn't Shawn have just stayed on the ramp? Nothing about the promo itself would have changed. Quote
