Loss Posted September 22, 2014 Author Report Posted September 22, 2014 RVD teases a split from Sabu to go into singles competition. Another Pulp Fiction, this one featuring Nova who teases being repackaged into a more serious wrestler. Sabu & RVD have to split up if they lose according to the Dudleys. Bubba Ray promises a clean victory. We also get the yearbook debut of Danny Doring and Roadkill. Quote
soup23 Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 I also marked that Doring and Roadkill cropped up here as they were the perennial mid carders when I started watching ECW as a 12 year old in 1999. The Dudley promo here finishing this edition out was good with Bubba doing a long form interview and DVon looking pissed. This was better than the last few Pulp Fiction editions. Quote
PeteF3 Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 Bill Alfonso says that if RVD & Sabu don't come back from Japan with the tag titles, he'll split the team up. RVD muses on this in pretty amusing fashion, as he wonders what kind of family would take in a freak like Sabu. We get teased with a staggeringly unnecessary "serious" repackaging of Supernova. The Dudleys cut a promo on their tag title match as Buh Buh promises to win clean without Sign Guy, Gertner, or Big Dick. This goes on for about 47 minutes as Buh Buh could stand to take lessons in brevity from Shane Douglas. Danny Doring makes his Yearbook debut and he introduces us to Roadkill, who they seem to be paying lip service to getting over as a twisted heel, at least for now. Justin Credible yells at Tommy Dreamer and then abuses Chastity in a rather uncomfortable and desperate scene. Quote
Migs Posted February 9, 2018 Report Posted February 9, 2018 Pulp Fiction always works, even when ECW is at a low ebb, but holy hell is that Dudleys promo long and not the way to start it out. Quote
