This match was announced as an 11 on 3 match at the start of the show.  There was a show long storyline of the Shield attacking guys to take them out of the match that was a lot of fun.  They beat up Swagger after his match against Cesaro.  They destroyed 3MB backstage, then Brad Maddox, who had been sent to Smackdown to take over for Vickie.  Ambrose diving onto Maddox was hilarious.  They also attacked Fandango before his match and triple-powerbombed him off the stage onto some tables.  Finally, as the heels were coming to the ring, it was announced that Curtis Axel was "found decimated backstage."

By the time the match began, it had gone from 11v3 to 6v3.  The heels worked on Ambrose for a while.  Ryback got to show off his power, throwing Rollins and Ambrose around.  Things broke down after Ambrose tagged out.  The Shield thrive in the chaotic situations, and began destroying guys all over the place.  ADR and Barrett tried to leave but Reigns runs through the crowd and attacks ADR with a huge Superman punch on the stage.  Barrett escaped unscathed, which was good since he seems to be in line for the IC title in a few weeks.  Sandow takes the pin after a spear, and Ryback eats a huge triple powerbomb after.  The Shield are so amazing in these wild brawls.
