Loss Posted October 22, 2014 Author Report Posted October 22, 2014 One-time appearance of Kurt Angle before he became a regular later in the year. He offers $500 to anyone in the crowd who will come to the ring and blow their nose on the American flag. I shouldn't be surprised, but people are in the crowd raising their hands and begging to be called upon. He comes out of the crowd and they acknowledge his history as an Olympic gold medalist. He gets a big pop from the crowd. Angle says no chance he'll take the bait, so Singh ups the bait to $2000. Angle says no yet again, so he ups the bait to $5000. Angle says he'll do it and teases following through before switching to Singh's flag when he turns his back. Angle gives Singh a belly-to-belly suplex to close out the segment. Quote
Tim Evans Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 So It took about 2 months for Singh to turn heel? Angle already has more presence than most of the WWF roster at the time for his first appearance. Quote
soup23 Posted March 10, 2015 Report Posted March 10, 2015 Good debut for Kurt showing his patriotism and putting the boots to Tiger Ali Singh. Little did we know that he would become the greatest wrestler of all time. Quote
Zenjo Posted August 14, 2015 Report Posted August 14, 2015 Good debut for Kurt showing his patriotism and putting the boots to Tiger Ali Singh. Little did we know that he would become the greatest wrestler of all time. I don't know about greatest. He's definitely top 3 along with HBK and Cena. Quote
PeteF3 Posted April 19, 2017 Report Posted April 19, 2017 "From the continent of Asia..." Oh, thanks for narrowing it down, guys. This entire segment may as well be in a different universe, on several different levels. Quote
