Loss
Mike Tenay does a sit-down interview with DDP, the first step toward a heel turn. Tenay is creepy and the backdrop looks like something out of 1988 NWA. This is what's airing on Nitro the night after Wrestlemania. Looks like the DDP-Scott Steiner feud is continuing. Tim Evans
Getting flashbacks of heel Tenay from 2000. So WCW was turning 3 main eventers at the same time? Nice.
soup23
I really don't understand why 1999 produced WCW has gotten so bad and phony. This could have been ok without the odd production choices. DDP as an overprotective, paranoid man makes sense.
PeteF3
Page's promo isn't bad but yeah, this setting is weird. Page refers to the near-crippling of his wife as a "fiasco." That's one way of describing it. Nash's lack of focus is pretty clear in these first two segments--if Page is turning then I'm not sure we even need to address the Steiner feud (unless he's turning too, which he isn't).
