Loss Posted October 25, 2014 Author Report Posted October 25, 2014 Dr. James Andrews explains Hogan's injury. Eric Bischoff accompanies him to surgery. Hogan wants to take care of DDP (for injuring his knee at Stampede) and then have surgery, but Bischoff talks some sense into him. Oh yes, the time period when Uncle Eric transformed into this really nice and regretful gray-haired WCW exec who just wanted to right his wrongs. Vomit. This dynamic goes against the entire mythology they established for years with the WCW good guys and the NWO bad guys. The surgery footage is cool though. We also hear from his physical therapist. We should hear more of that these days. Nice and old school. Quote
Tim Evans Posted March 6, 2015 Report Posted March 6, 2015 Well the NWO is basically on it's deathbed so it makes sense for Bischoff to go into to more babyface behind the scenes type guy. This reminded me of when Steph accompanied HHH to the same doctor when he tore his quad back in 01. Quote
soup23 Posted March 20, 2015 Report Posted March 20, 2015 Hogan acts like a face and now Eric is too by proxy. This is all bizarre although Hogan coming back vowing revenge on DDP is a cool program that they could have went with. Quote
PeteF3 Posted June 4, 2017 Report Posted June 4, 2017 Not a bad segment in isolation, but of course we're not in isolation. Babyface Hogan and Bischoff simply, isn't, going, to work. Hogan entertaining the surgeons and nurses by cutting a promo on DDP right before being put under was amusing. Quote
