Loss
Recap of the Austin-Undertaker match from Over The Edge including stills. We opted not to include anything from this show, but stills from Heat are fine. Undertaker wins the title after Shane fast-counts Austin. Austin comes out and calls Undertaker and Shane sorry sons of bitches. Austin wants Undertaker in the ring on RAW and calls him a chickenshit, which gets bleeped. Undertaker interrupts via Titantron. I just love 'Taker's music at this time. Undertaker continues to hype the Greater Power. He promises to present Austin to the GP tomorrow night. Austin is awesome in his response. Tim Evans
I was surprised they even acknowledged anything from Over the Edge. Austin cuts a good promo but it really seems his run as The Man is winding down. Taker's look on the titantron was badass.
soup23
The stills from OTE was effective in showing the title change. Austin delivers a good venom scorned promo vowing some revenge. Taker throws up a rebuttal and says that Austin will be presented to the Greater Power. I must say that Taker vs. Austin has happened way too much since SummerSlam the previous year but both Austin and Taker were so committed to their characters around this time and the crowds were so hot that it still worked and didn't feel nearly as dated and sad as the Nash vs. Savage stuff. Zenjo
I absolutely loved the soul vs sole joke. That just perfectly summed up the two conflicting characters.
PeteF3
"One can't grieve forever," as Jerry Lawler said after the Hawk suicide angle. The WWF had a title change scheduled at Over the Edge, and we can't have anything getting in the way of that. Undertaker rebuts Austin's promo with a possibly unintentional Police lyric. The Greater Power hype is now in full force, and no question, it was a compelling mystery.
