Last few minutes. The other West Texas Rednecks hit the ring for the DQ. Dean Malenko comes out to make the save but the numbers catch up to him. Finally, Shane Douglas shows up in his WCW debut and aligns himself with Benoit, Malenko and Saturn, giving birth to The Revolution.

Scott Hudson channeling TNA era Mike Tenay with the "we know where he's from" line. Revolution was a nice concept but of course they ruined it.

Revolution is born and its cool to see Douglas look important. This wouldn't have been bad if it would have been the biggest development on the show. Unfortunately this was 1999 WCW so it wasn't even top 3.

Good enough segment to set up a new stable, but they'd quickly be shunted back into the mid-card so that they knew their place and the addition of Douglas' promo skills would be for naught. "THERE IS A CANCER IN WCW, and I am the--uh, what cures cancer?" --Shane Douglas as Chief Wiggum.
