Loss Posted November 3, 2014 Author Report Posted November 3, 2014 Last few minutes. Chris Benoit wins the U.S. title and is immediately attacked by DDP. DDP should really be in Rick Steiner's spot at the top right now, but putting over Benoit at the next PPV isn't a bad use of him either. WCW continuing the very basic booking that makes sense but isn't all that memorable. Quote
Tim Evans Posted May 16, 2015 Report Posted May 16, 2015 The Camera man almost misses the finish. I guess the David Flair experiment is over and we are getting crazy David next. Crowd was really hot for this for some reason. Quote
soup23 Posted January 16, 2016 Report Posted January 16, 2016 Tony had some shots at David's wrestling ability. Agree that DDP instead of Steiner would have been a good sub. Even someone like heel Benoit in that spot would have worked. Quote
PeteF3 Posted September 8, 2017 Report Posted September 8, 2017 It made no sense for the David Flair-as-US-Champion angle to be going on this long, with Flair out of power. Benoit gives it a mercy-killing (ooohh...) and sets up a no-DQ match with DDP at Road Wild. Quote
