Loss Posted November 4, 2014 Author Report Posted November 4, 2014 Last few minutes. Kidman gets a big upset. WCW is awful for always having the established guy lay out the guy who got the upset right after, negating the impact of the job. I do like the angle here in spite of that. DDP ties Kidman upside down to the ringpost and whips him with a belt. Kimberly shows up to calm him down. Quote
Tim Evans Posted May 26, 2015 Report Posted May 26, 2015 Kidman tries to take out DDP with a sleeper but DDP turns it into a diamond cutter. That's awesome and Orton like. Quote
Zenjo Posted September 18, 2015 Report Posted September 18, 2015 WCW is awful for always having the established guy lay out the guy who got the upset right after, negating the impact of the job. He GOT HIS HEAT BACK! I can't emphasise just how important that is. He lost his heat by doing the job, but then he went and got it straight back again. That's booking 101. Fans may think that they want to see the babyface celebrating after a big win, particularly an unexpected one. But fans don't want to enjoy a feelgood moment. What they want is for the heel to GET HIS HEAT BACK straight away. It can't wait a week, because once that heat is gone it's like gas escaping a bottle. Quote
soup23 Posted January 19, 2016 Report Posted January 19, 2016 Good upset win here and Page looks vicious in his post beatdown. I liked the story of Kimberly coming out to calm him down. This felt like a promising feud. Quote
PeteF3 Posted September 15, 2017 Report Posted September 15, 2017 One of those patented Scott Hall-jobbing-to-Hector-Garza jobs that does nothing for the babyface, since he gets squashed the whole match, wins on a fluke, then gets destroyed afterward. Quote
