Last few minutes sees Rob Conway retain the OVW title by defeating Damaja in a hardcore match. Trailer Park Trash prevents a heel beatdown after the match, but he only prolongs the inevitable, as Bull Buchanan also runs in. A fun brawl spills into the concessions area. This would be fun if it wasn't so derivative of the early 80s Tupelo brawls, but everything Jim Cornette books is derivative.

They brawl in what looks like a cafeteria. Buchanan with his rat pony tail brings in a toilet to hit Trash with, Not bad but yeah a Cornette staple.

OVW continues to get slightly better each week as I actually care about Damaja now where I didn't at all a couple of weeks ago. Fun brawl that while it was reminiscent of Memphis, it still was hate filled.

Derivative, yes, but in the midst of the Attitude Era and whatever NJPW is trying to reinvent themselves as, derivative doesn't sound too bad right at the moment.
