Loss Posted November 9, 2014 Author Report Posted November 9, 2014 Hall and Nash, neither of whom are part of WCW at this point in storyline, walk through the crowd with drinks in their hands and the crowd roars. Bobby Heenan wants the scoop so he leaves the broadcast booth to go find out what's going on. Everyone being so happy to see them ... I won't beat that horse again. They seem drunk. It says a lot when Bobby Heenan is the most coherent guy in a segment. Hall says they'll come back when it's fun again and this closes with Nash saying they are getting the band back together. Quote
Tim Evans Posted July 11, 2015 Report Posted July 11, 2015 It's May 1996 all over again. So sad seeing Heenan here trying to tow the company line and Hall/Nash won't have any of it. Quote
soup23 Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 These guys are too cool for school as evidenced by their dismissal of Bobby and their legit drinking. It is no longer 1996 guys. Quote
PeteF3 Posted November 8, 2017 Report Posted November 8, 2017 Sort of an attempt to recreate the original invasion, but now Hall and Nash are treated by announcers and fans alike as returning conquering heros. Hall: "He works a retirement angle and he's nagging *me* to come back?" Then Hall makes a crack about the state of the locker room. Nothing like two of your guys shitting on your company on live TV. Nash is hugging a black companion to prove how cool he is. Quote
