Luger has a match tonight with Goldberg and begins his Russo transition to a total chickenshit heel, which was one of the few bright spots of Russo's WCW run. Here, he's acting terrified of Goldberg, who he is facing in the main event, and is pretty nervous. Funny stuff, even if it a total 180.

Yeah the Luger/Goldberg stuff was decent in a sea of total shit at time. This interview he looked like he was jonesing for some crack or something. I guess he was trying to be nervous but I was waiting for him to say " I DON'T KNOW"

I did like Luger here wanting some reassurance from Liz on just how awesome he is and both not believing a word they are saying.

Luger stutters his way through a terrified promo--"I am a Total Package--r-right, Elizabeth?" This change in direction for Lex shows some promise. I'm all for a return to early 1996 form for Luger.
