Only Russo could headline a PPV World Title tournament final in Toronto with Bret Hart vs Chris Benoit and make it pretty heatless and unmemorable. Bret wins the title and even celebrates with his family while fireworks go off, but the whole thing rings hollow as part of a booking philosophy that doesn't emphasize titles or good wrestling.

PeteF3 Posted May 14, 2018 Report Posted May 14, 2018 I liked the struggle over the suplexes and holds at the very end, and I don't see the lack of heat either--the crowd seemed pretty legitimately loud for this, of course that message would be completely lost on Russo.
