Beast
I expect Parv's pick to be absolutely amazing since he's been working on it for like an hour.
goc
I guess I have the rep as the complainer for taking long on picks but this one has been amusing especially watching him jump all over threads. I am somehow flabbergasted that the Dread Lord would honestly seem not to have made a list up of needs/wants/priorities.
Beast
I think we should be allowed to bitch when they're on the board and not just out of reach for a few hours.
JerryvonKramer
I'm updating the fucking list, give me a break.
goc
This is gets more amusing by the minute when you think of how fast he can break out a map of Ohio and draw a line across it.
Beast
Priorities. Appreciate you doing that, but can we at least do it in a way that doesn't hold things up?
JerryvonKramer
This is a tough pick and I need to think.
Beast
OK cool. Sorry if it's coming off like complaining.
goc
I would like to apologize for my previous hurrying of Dylan & KrisZ and offer my support to JVK. I apologize to Dylan & KrisZ because they were legitimately busy and I was rude. I support JVK because when he over thinks his picks like this he's almost sure to take no one that I want. Make your next list update searchable by guys who were NWA champs in the 70s so you know who to build around.
Beast
Apology redacted. Damn it Ole.
goc
Another JVK pick that I love. Couldn't figure out what to do with Ole, even though I knew he was still a top talent in 83. I am trying to go more by who I could actually come up with interesting stuff for over the biggest name left on the board. I like Ole in the JVK WWF too. JerryvonKramer
That took so long mainly because Ernie Ladd was my next pick, since he'd just gone, I was trying to think through if I could make a similar spot work for Ole even though he doesn't have Ladd's history in New York. goc
The Brad Armstrong pick makes me a little sick to my stomach because I was going to take him for someone else as part of a trade deal that has now gone awry and an important piece for me is now a big question mark. I may end up eating crow and holding up the process with my pick waiting on negotiations.
Beast
I'm going to miss Ole, but I'll be fine as long as my 2nd choice makes it through the next 8 picks.
JerryvonKramer
I now have a 36-pick gap till my next one.
goc
I now have a 36-pick gap till my next one. Write out 37 people that you want. I've enjoyed doing "worst case scenario" 80+ lists for "what happens if everyone I want is gone in the next 2 rounds?"
JerryvonKramer
I have no worries about the pick, just getting myself psychologically ready to pick someone who isn't a top star and a big name. Has to happen at some point I guess.
goc
You ARE doing names on a dartboard drafting just like I thought.
JerryvonKramer
I'm running shows at MSG so people expect big names. Sue me.
goc
Joe Blanchard is prepared to do just that if you put your hungry little eyes on his soon to be THRIVING territory in San Antonio.
JerryvonKramer
I'm thinking of chaning the name of the promotion to "70s All-Stars Wrestling"
goc
I am going to have to tell Joe Blanchard he really need not fear that WWF expansion nightmare he had. VJM putting some British dude in charge instead of his son has really changed the outlook for the future.

goc
I almost don't want dkookypunk to show up until tomorrow. I am in a real crisis of confidence right now. I also want to say there has been one name high on my list every time that I pass over because I don't know what to do with him. He's a pretty big deal though and am shocked he is not taken. Dylan Waco
Wiskowski was probably going to be my next pick though I'm not crushed to see him fall off the board. Having said that Wiskowski and Lafon falling back to back is pretty brutal. I honestly have no clue how I'm going to even be able to draft a person in every round at this rate.
