This was worked differently than I was expecting. Still I enjoyed it. I loved Gordy bumping huge for Dick's Bionic Elbow. Murdoch's arm work was really well done. Gordy threw some nasty punches in this.I also enjoyed Gordy's standing headlock a lot in this. The one from the mount position was beyond nasty. Murdoch even busted out a flying head scissors. This was a real good meat and potatoes match. The finish was a little anti climatic.Though the punches in this were awesome and Gordy bumped big for Murdoch's punches 3*

Yeah, this came across very different to my expectations but Murdoch delivering a delayed flying headscissors like a spry Juvie is unreal and something I'll put on the list of things I never expected to ever see. These guys finally unload with their shots about halfway in and its violent. Gordy threw some nasty punches but Dick had some scrappy ones of his own. Terry's overselling was comical and came across like he was doing the Hokey Pokey more than being punched in the face but it was entertaining stuff nonetheless

Enjoyable relaxed weekend take on a matchup between these two which includes one "holy shit" spot from Dick and not for the reason you think!

Nice little 12/13 minutes match, as Slater had to work another match that night and they didn't go all out here. Still, it was a decent one and young Gordy had tons of offense, it's incredible to think that he was only 21 here. Slater was such an underrated babyface, he put over a simple headlock very effectively and the Houston fans were behind his comeback, which was flashier than expected (including a headscissor?!). The punches were really fun too, but the finish was absolutely flat and anticlimatic, Gordy did so well and then a simple elbow took him down
