Mr. Lacelle Posted January 18, 2016 Report Posted January 18, 2016 growing up a wrestling fan, I used to tape matches off the tv. Except squash matches. I found them uninteresting. Although I would record competitive squash matches. Guys like Johnny Rich, Jimmy Powers & of course Iron Mike Sharpe. He's dead now, but he will live on thanks to the internet.
Parties Posted January 18, 2016 Report Posted January 18, 2016 On last week's Art of Wrestling, the great Dan Maff cited Sharpe as the wrestler who was nicest to him as a kid when Maff's dad worked as a referee.
dexstar Posted January 18, 2016 Report Posted January 18, 2016 My favorite jobber ever, off to that never-ending shower in the sky.
Death From Above Posted January 19, 2016 Report Posted January 19, 2016 Never saw his work out of the WWF but he was my favourite jobber as a kid.

conker8 Posted January 19, 2016 Report Posted January 19, 2016 I was looking on Youtube some random things and I just found a Mike Sharpe match teaming with Eddie Gilbert against Jerry Lawler & Randy Savage. Rest In Peace Mike Sharpe.
