Any day with Chris Colt is better than a day without Chris Colt. He singlehandedly kept alive my interest in the late '80s Portland undercard. Just a glorious grandma-insulting sleazebag.

He is one of the most mesmerizing figures in wrestling in the 80's.....a total tour de force in the ring and a guy whose exploits out of the ring could be the subject of many NC-17 films.

I only just found out recently that Colt had a match for Joint Promotions that was deemed too violent for TV. Then he was fired after the Crabtrees didn't appreciate his antics during a Royal Albert Hall show. Apparently, he was pretty wasted during a Big Daddy tag where he'd been accompanied to the ring by Joe Cocker. Brian Dixon swooped in and started billing him as the man too bad for TV and he had a nice run with All-Star.

PNW 5th September 1981. Christ Colt vs Art Crews. Essentially a throwaway mid card match on a random Portland Saturday show. Having said that, this is just a virtuoso performance from Colt in my eyes. I've stumbled across this thread before and like CheapPop1999 said, the comments here make him sound amazing. After watching this one single match, I'm sold that Chris Colt was absolutely incredible. Can't wait to dig in and see more.
