fxnj Posted February 23, 2016 Report Posted February 23, 2016 Misawa/Kobashi 1/20/97 1984 NJPW Gauntlet 1992 Royal Rumble Fuck short matches. If this is all I can watch I'm bringing something long. Quote
Edwin Posted February 23, 2016 Report Posted February 23, 2016 Benoit vs. Taskmaster (WCW Great American Bash 1996) - My favorite match of all time and the match that turned Benoit into my favorite wrestler of all time as kid. Knowing the backstory to this over the years made it much better in my eyes. Rey Jr. vs Eddie (WCW Halloween Havoc 1997) - A match that has aged well in it's element. I know this may not be everyone's type of match now a days, but back then this was highly praised. To this day these 2 guys pulled out spots that haven't still been replicated and executed as perfectly as they did. Rey Jr. just went balls to the wall and Eddie caught him perfectly in every spot they worked in. Sting, Windham, Dustin, Steamboat and Koloff vs. Austin, Rude, Arn, Eaton and Zbyszko (WCW WrestleWar 1992) - My favorite cage match ever and maybe the most underrated cage match ever. I haven't watched it in a while, but both teams really brought it that night. This match also featured the best Ricky Steamboat fist pump in the history of wrestling. Quote
