ShittyLittleBoots Posted July 21, 2016 Report Posted July 21, 2016 Hero vs. Liger will be so much fun. Quote
NotJayTabb Posted July 21, 2016 Report Posted July 21, 2016 Really good chance for the BritWres guys to make an impression. Never seen a bad Andrews vs Dunne match, and I don't expect them to start here. Gallagher will win a lot of fans, but I think Haskins could be the standout, especially as his only real US exposure is his very brief TNA run. Quote
Luchaundead Posted July 21, 2016 Report Posted July 21, 2016 I love Haskins & Cedric it feels like that match was booked for me, This year I'm so concerned that it's going to be impossible to get tix which is really bumming me out hugely. On the positive side all 3 nights are going to be amazing with so much great talent. Quote
AstroBoy Posted July 21, 2016 Report Posted July 21, 2016 I'm super psyched for Trevor Lee vs. Kamaitachi. Quote
concrete1992 Posted July 21, 2016 Report Posted July 21, 2016 Shocked and amazed with how excited I am to see these shows in December. That isn't a rib.The biggest worry, as with all PWG shows, is that a lot of these matches will just get too much time. Trevor Lee vs. Kamaitachi is the perfect example as if it comes in at under 15 minutes, prefeably under 10, it is a PWG MOTYC. If they try to go BIG, which they probably will, the worst tendencies will come out. Liger vs. Hero is good at least. Though admittedly I am worried what sort of Liger we will get in the States. Hopeful for a highly energized one. If so this could be one of those 2016 matches that I never saw coming until it hit me. Castle vs. Gallagher is un-PWG in that this is Gallagher's first match there and I don't think he has ever faced Castle. The dynamic between the two is easily there as they are showman grapplers. Castle is more Kurt Angle-esque in that approach and Gallagher more...I don't want to say Johnny Saint but that's what is coming into my head. Quote
Laz Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 Doing End/ZSJ as a first round match is a little puzzling, but either the expected result (ZSJ win) gives us a great potential second round match or going against expectations (End winning) will add a good bit of suspense to the following nights. Great roster. I am sorely disappointed in myself for falling off the PWG wagon during their "rebuilding" stages in 2013/2014. Quote
Parties Posted July 23, 2016 Report Posted July 23, 2016 Liger-Hero and Fenix/Pentagon vs. Chris Hero/Tommy End sound great. Callahan seems like kind of an odd choice for a Rhodes opponent, unless part of Cody's indie rebirth is to go full Texas Outlaw and develop his brawling, in which case: shine on. Quote
bucky Posted July 24, 2016 Report Posted July 24, 2016 I thought Cody was great in a falls count anywhere brawl with Mysterio at one of the Extreme Rules shows. Quote
