(After the opening credits, we go to the broadcast booth where Guy Hauray & Édouard Carpentier are waiting to start this week’s show)

Guy Hauray: Hello, wrestling fans, and welcome to Lutte Internationale TV. After an explosive episode last week, we shall be in for another intense hour of pro wrestling as Rick Martel is here to give an answer to Eddy Creatchman about him granting Samu an International Heavyweight Championship match.

Édouard Carpentier: Indeed, Guy, and we said many times that Rick Martel won’t back down from any challenges, despite the struggles he can encounter in his way. The champ has a chip on his shoulder and he has something to prove to Samu.

Guy Hauray: Rick’s answer is moments away but first, we’re ready for our first match of the night!

Match #1

Billy Robinson (w/Sherri Martel & Doug Somers) vs Denis Goulet

Guy & Édouard put over once again Billy Robinson & Doug Somers International Tag Team title win a few weeks ago and mention how they’ve been working extremely well together from the start. Denis Goulet’s lack of experience is clearly killing any of his chances of winning this match against a crafty veteran like Billy Robinson. Robinson doesn’t waste too much more of his time and finishes things up with a nasty armbar to make Goulet submit.

Winner: Billy Robinson

**********COMMERCIAL BREAK**************

(Back from the break, Guy Hauray is standing in front of his desk and is waiting for his guest to come join him for an interview)

Guy Hauray: We promised you that the champion would be here to give us his answer and ladies and gentlemen, he’s here. The International Heavyweight Champion, Rick Martel!

(Rick Martel comes out from the curtain, championship belt on his shoulder, with the crowd going crazy. Martel salutes the crowd and takes position besides Hauray)

Guy Hauray: Well, Rick, this is it. You promised to give Eddy Creatchman an answer and here you are.

(Translation : Yes, Guy, I’m here. I promised it and my word is my bond. But that’s funny, I would’ve thought that Eddy Creatchman would’ve wanted to be here so I could give him my answer!)

(As soon as Martel has finished his sentence, speaking of the devil, Eddy Creatchman shows up, without any of his henchmen, despite the fact that Sheik Ali is scheduled for a match in the main event vs Adrian Adonis)

Guy Hauray: Eddy, we thought you would’ve been here sooner, you’re getting what you want now.

(Translation : Not so fast, Mr. Hauray. Not convinced at all that Martel came here to give me what I want. Let’s face facts, Martel: you have no chance against my Samu. The last time you’ve met, he humiliated you in front of your rotten hometown crowd in Quebec City at the Colisée. Frank Valois is so scared this happens again that he hasn’t booked the Colisée since. There’s no shame to say that you’re scared, Martel. All you’ve gotta do is to give me the belt right now, I give it to Samu and that’s it.)

(Martel takes a long look at Creatchman, and then, at his title belt over his shoulder. It’s like he’s actually contemplating doing what Creatchman just offered him. Martel grabs Hauray’s mic)

Mais tu me connais mal, Creatchman.

(Translation : It’s true that the last time Samu and I faced off at the Colisée in Quebec City, things didn’t turn out too well for me. Probably that an average joe would’ve turned his back and moved to other things. But you don’t know me well, Creatchman. I’m not an average joe. I can’t sleep at night until I can prove that I can beat Samu. My honor and my reputation are at stake. This is why I can’t let this opportunity pass me by. Creatchman, you can tell Samu that he’s getting his title shot. November 9, Montreal Forum, I’ll show him that I’m not afraid of anybody.)

(Translation : Poor Martel, you don’t even know what awaits you. You just made the biggest mistake of your life, champ! You just gave Samu the chance to end your career right now and believe you me, he won’t miss this. All I can tell you is that your career will finish exactly like your brother: 6 feet under!)

(Martel throws his title on the floor and jumps on Creatchman, strangling him after he just talked about his late brother! Martel is in transe and it takes Charlie Cook, Hercules Ayala, The Spoiler & Dino Bravo to come out and get him off Creatchman. Creatchman crawls his way back to the locker room while Dino & The Spoiler are trying to calm down the champ. Guy Hauray & Édouard Carpentier are trying to smooth things over at the broadcast booth)

Guy Hauray: Fans, we apologize for Eddy Creatchman’s comments. This was completely uncalled for and extremely disrespectful for Rick Martel, his family & his friends. You can rest assured that Frank Valois will look into this but now it’s official, Martel and Samu will square off once again but at the Forum.

Édouard Carpentier: Some would say that Martel isn’t in the right frame of mind and that is what Creatchman tried to accomplish but this could be exactly what Rick needs to beat Samu, as twisted as it seems, Guy. And perhaps The Brain did commit a mistake, not Rick Martel.

Guy Hauray: There’s still plenty of time before November 9 so we’ll see how it will unfold. When we come back, Raymond Rougeau is in action.

Match #2

Raymond Rougeau vs Serge Jodoin

Guy & Édouard talk about what went down last week when Raymond Rougeau punched Jim Cornette after his disparaging comments on the late Johnny Rougeau. Raymond seems to have regained his composure and he’s solely focused on Serge Jodoin. Raymond channelled his anger towards this match and Jodoin didn’t last long. Raymond scores the pinfall in less than 4 minutes with a Savate Kick

Winner: Raymond Rougeau

(After the match, Raymond & his brother Jacques join Édouard Carpentier at the broadcast booth)

Édouard Carpentier: Raymond, I think that we need to address what happened last week when the manager of the Midnight Express, Jim Cornette, made some very derogatory remarks against you and your family. You lost your composure and you punched Cornette, although no one will hold it against you to have done so following what he said.

(Translation : We won’t beat around the bush, Édouard, what happened last week was deplorable. As much for Jim Cornette than for me. No, Cornette had no business saying what he said about Jacques and myself or Uncle Johnny. But I should’ve been able to keep my composure and reacting more maturely. However, there’ll be a time when Cornette and his Midnight Express will come face-to-face with us with us and we’ll show him than the Rougeaus are anything but what he thinks we are)

(Jacques Rougeau is about to talk when Jim Cornette comes out with Adrian Adonis. Adonis is about to wrestle in this week’s main event. Cornette saunters to the broadcast booth)

Édouard Carpentier: Jim Cornette, what is this?

Jim Cornette: I should be asking this question, old man! What is this, Rougeau? What are you doing here, still? Why aren’t you out of here?

Jacques Rougeau: Isn’t it obvious, Cornette? We were commenting abou---

Jim Cornette: Oh, shut your piehole, no one asked you a question. I was talking to your big brother, Raymond. You know, the one who has the balls in the family.

(Jacques is about to jump on Cornette but Raymond holds him back. Adonis steps in front of Cornette to protect him)

Édouard Carpentier: Why don’t you get to the point, Mr. Cornette?

Jim Cornette: I sure will! You see, after what happened, last week, I needed to make sure that I would feel safe in my working environment. I can’t risk to have to constantly look over my shoulder, fearing that the Rougeaus would attack me for no reason because they don’t agree with what I think about them. So I did what any rational man would do: I got myself a restraining order against the Rougeau Brothers!

Raymond Rougeau: You gotta be kidding me!

Jim Cornette: Oh, I’m not kidding at all, Ray. You brought this on yourself by attacking me last week. This restraining order says that you can’t get closer than 50 feet from me and as I stand here, you’re violating that restraining order. So, I’m giving you 2 options: either, you walk away and let me do my job as Adorable Adrian’s manager or both you and your brother are jailbirds in 5 minutes! Your choice!

(The Rougeaus are obviously angry but they realize that it wouldn’t be smart for them to taint the image of the territory and land in jail so they reluctantly walk away while Cornette & Adonis are all smiles.)

Édouard Carpentier: How can you be so proud of yourself, Cornette?

Jim Cornette: Listen, I just did what I had to do, OK? If you wanna blame someone, blame the Rougeaus, not me! I’m a decent man trying to lead the Midnight Express to the International Tag Team Championship and that’s what I’ll do. So excuse me, but Adorable Adrian has a main event to win!

(Jim Cornette and Adrian Adonis get inside the ring as we’re headed to a commercial break)

***********COMMERCIAL BREAK**************

(Back from the break, before the main event, Guy Hauray & Édouard Carpentier are standing in front of the broadcast booth for an announcement)

Guy Hauray: Ladies and gentlemen, we have some breaking news in regards to our live event next Saturday at the Centre Paul-Sauvé. As you know, the Johnny Rougeau Memorial Cup last month allowed Lutte Internationale to expand their working relationship with all territories involved in the tournament and all of them have been kind and generous enough to feature our tournament in their weekly programming. Promoter Frank Valois wanted to express his gratitude once again to every territory that has taken part in the tournament. And Lutte has made it clear that they intend to repay the favour to them every chance they get. You’re all familiar with the working agreement that Lutte Internationale has with the World Wrestling Federation but Frank Valois is also looking to further his working relationship with other territories. An extraordinary opportunity has presented itself, courtesy of Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling. As you’re aware if you regularly watch their programming, the rivalry between NWA TV Champion Tully Blanchard and Superstar Billy Graham has reached a fever pitch in recent weeks and it seems that the Mid-Atlantic territory can no longer contain this feud by itself and both men are looking to fight each other, everywhere and anywhere, no matter the territory. Promoter Frank Valois is proud to announce that next Saturday, October 6, we will have a huge double main event at the Centre Paul-Sauvé in Montreal. In the main event, Rick Martel will be defending his International Heavyweight Championship against George “The Animal” Steele and also on the card, Mad Dog Lefebvre will be defending his newly won International TV Championship vs former champion Gino Brito. But in the co-main event, we’re proud to announce a joint presentation sanctioned under NWA rules as NWA World TV Champion Tully Blanchard will take on Superstar Billy Graham in a non-title Street Fight!

Édouard Carpentier: What a huge coup for Lutte Internationale to host such a heated and intense match in our territory. Tully Blanchard is one of the absolute rising stars in the business and Superstar Billy Graham is a former World Heavyweight Champion himself! I can’t even imagine how this match will end.

Guy Hauray: Folks, if you haven’t bought your tickets yet, we urge you to do so as it’ll be the biggest card to ever take place at the Centre Paul-Sauvé. Here’s a rundown of what you’ll see next Saturday night:

MAIN EVENT

Match #3

Adrian Adonis (w/Jim Cornette) vs Sheik Ali (w/Eddy “The Brain” Creatchman)

Guy & Édouard both put over the actions of Jim Cornette a few moments ago as he got a restraining order on the Rougeaus. Both managers are very active in their corner, shouting instructions to their protégés. Sheik Ali is definitely showing his aggressive side and the crowd is riling up Jim Cornette after his actions. Even Adorable Adrian seems to be a bit off his game, spending as much time comforting Cornette than wrestling Ali. At the end of the match, Cornette gets involved in a verbal joust with Eddy Creatchman at ringside and he eventually shoves Creatchman on the floor. Jim Cornette decides he wants to help Adorable Adrian and climbs on the apron but all of a sudden, the patriarch of the Rougeau family, Jacques Rougeau Sr. comes to ringside and pulls Cornette out of the apron. Cornette wants to take a swing at the elderly Rougeau but he misses and Jacques Sr. clocks Cornette with a right hand! As referee Adrien Desbois jumps outside the ring to separate both Rougeau Sr and Cornette, Eddy Creatchman slips his cane to Sheik Ali and he nails Adonis, who was watching everything unfold from the ring, in the back! Adonis goes down and Ali throws the smoking gun out of the ring and covers Adonis. Desbois returns in time in the ring to see Ali cover Adonis and counts the pinfall for the victory. As Sheik Ali & The Brain celebrate their victory, the show ends with Jacques Sr. being escorted out of the studio as Cornette is seething.
