NintendoLogic
Kevin Owens had the absolutely perfect response to the "you deserve it" chants. I'm not a fan of him in the ring, but his character work is gold.
...TG
Jack Gallagher and Akira Tozawa were in the latest cruiserweights promo. Hopefully this means they'll be coming in full-time. Now Bo Dallas gets a squash match to utter silence. Didn't he get drunk and arrested at an airport recently? WWE usually frowns upon that sort of thing. WWE usually frowns upon that sort of thing.Like I said on twitter, we've now learned that in the eyes of WWE taking Adderall is worse than getting arrested for being drunk in public. sek69
Vince is probably happy a guy got in trouble for getting drunk like a real man rather than those wimpy millennial drugs.
The Chief
You ever watch something and you just know that it's going to be a backdrop for something else? Like, "there's no way these jobbers are going to fight each other, I bet we'll hear Sid's music ten seconds in and he'll kill both of them then cut a promo about his PPV opponent." That was the feeling I got from that Bo Dallas match. Then he just beats the jobber clean, and that's it. So yeah, that was a thing that happened. Raw Is Weird. goc
I thought that Bo squash was going to have the "jobber wins via banana peel" finish.
sek69
Bo's redemption after hitting rock bottom drunk in an airport could have been Raw's version of the Heath Slater story if done right.
hammerva
Okay I am not sure what is more confusing: Bo Dallas in a squash match or the Colons actually beating Enzo & Cass I guess the purpose of tonight's show is to get people who has been completely nothing for years in position to actually be put on a PPV show. Matt D
My guess about the Bo thing is China.
The Chief
I wish they could find a way to translate Luke Gallows real life personality to his on screen character because he's probably the funniest guy in the entire company. Even when they do give him comedy roles it just doesn't work.
...TG
Dear lord that was terrible. Then it kept going. It's still going on for chrissakes
goc
Apparently Vince doesn't remember that Gallows was Festus. I really hope someone reminds him and it puts an end to the streak of god awful segments that The Club has been involved in ever since the split. Anderson would be perfectly acceptable as the new Jesse in that act.
hammerva
The problem with Gallows real life character is that it is definitely not PG. Funny as hell but definitely not PG That segment is why the New Day should have lost the belt 2 months ago. It is getting more and more stale and they are running out of ideas so quickly. Maybe if they were on Smackdown with actual great teams it would better I don't know

I love the First Amendment but if he/she/they were arrested, I would happily be in favor.
Codysseus
Good opening segment, good Bayley/Charlotte and Rollins/Jericho matches. Then the Club and New Day happened...It doesn't get much worse than that.
hammerva
Maybe I am the only on this but I am really tired of Corey Graves playing the younger version of JBL as the stereotypical heel commentator. He seemed so different and refreshing on NXT but it feels like he has regressed since going to RAW
Matt D
Presumably, the issue, then, is Vince producing him.

They are going to be paid actual American dollars for rendering that service.

Fando
that promo was gross.
hammerva
That segment would have been much better if the crowd hadn't been subject to about 80 minutes of some really mind numbing bullshit before that. as far as the "Miss Piggy" thing, well I guess some old habits are really hard to break
sek69
There was just a tidbit in the last WON how Miss Piggy is Dana Brooke's nickname with certain people in WWE.
Fando
Ouch. And I was thinking that part could have been all Sasha after she saw Amber O'Neal call Dana that in a tweet last Monday.
Jimmy Redman
I like how everyone is so legit worried about Sasha that they got such a convincing nearfall from her fake retirement/surgery. That pop when she mentioned Charlotte and the PPV was like a collective "Oh thank God she's not dead!" sigh of relief. I also like how Nia Jax is so intimidating that when Alicia Fox stepped to her backstage, Alicia did everything except actually try to fight her. "Well Nia, I challenge you...to walk away from me as quickly as possible.""I swear if you don't get out my face we're going to have to...continue this conversation.""Hey come back here! Let's...talk this out some more!"
Matt D
Almost certain that babyfaces have been calling her that in promos since almost day one in NXT.
