soup23
I feel bad seeing this as a final but I don't have too much to say here. Of course, the match is really emphasizing the Hector Garza vs. Octagon feud at the end. The action wasn't awful but it certainly wasn't that inspiring. Such is life in AAA. **
Loss
It's a match and it's here and that's about it. The action is decent but it comes across more as a throwaway LLPW undercard match than the finals of the biggest tournament of the year, and the falls come awfully easy. Not much substance to this, kind of wrestled as a formality. You see some talent here and know all four of them can work but they aren't particularly motivated in this environment for whatever reason. Tim Evans
AAA women's wrestling has never been really good unless the Apaches were involved. That holds true here. Martha Villalobos is the Moolah of luchadoras in that she was well respected but awful and had a stable of wrestlers. Janeth and Rossy aren't awful but they were clearly over the hill. I always liked Xochilt as she wasn't in much but she was the best of the bunch in this match. Short match with not a lot going on. Pentagon runs in as he was with Xochiti and Hector Garza makes the save. Then, the rest of the luchadoras come in to congratulate the winner. AAA isn't looking great in 2000.
