C.S.
I'll echo the sentiments in this thread that Foxcatcher was an absolutely awful movie. Good performances, yes, but painfully slow and boring as hell. Considering how great the story is, there was no excuse for such a pitifully bad film. As for casting Vince, only one choice makes sense to me: Peter Gallagher
Strummer
from the LAW's update today: MLW Radio’s Court Bauer and Alex Greenfield have seen the original script for the “Pandemonium” movie on Vince McMahon and a have a thorough review of the spec script as a VIP show on their website. It’s important to know that this script was the original one and could be drastically different by the time the finished product comes out. This script focuses on the rise of Vince McMahon and takes you up until the steroid distribution trial in 1994 and was described by Bauer and Greenfield as much closer to “Ready to Rumble” than “The Wrestler” if you looking at the opposite ends of the spectrum. As you would expect, there are many creative liberties on various stories with one example being Jimmy Snuka being discovered as a porn star at the age of 35. so yeah... flyonthewall2983
I read some more on reddit. Someone remarked that it could have been a fake script sent to MLW. If it is the real deal I am sure Vince and WWE Films will change it. Linda is described as very sexual and that Vince meets her at a strip club. It feels more like the Mr. McMahon backstory than Vince's.

Loss
Is there much of a difference? Serious question.
flyonthewall2983
It's a small difference. But what my thinking is is that this would feel like the origin story to the character on television, if there was never a Vince McMahon behind it. flyonthewall2983
Danny Huston would be a good choice
