SirEdger
NWA Lutte Internationale TV Taped at CHLT-TV Studios, Sherbrooke, QC Broadcasted October 26th, 1985 90-minute special -In the opening bout, Bruno Sammartino acts as special guest referee for Jimmy Snuka's match vs enhancement talent Franny Butts. The broadcast team says that upon rumors that Jerry Lawler might show up to brag on turning on Snuka last night in Lindsay, ON, Sammartino appointed himself as the referee to take care of Lawler if he shows up. Easy win for Snuka with the Superfly Splash. After the match, Snuka goes to the broadcast booth and is irate as he promises to get a piece of Jerry Lawler if he ever shows up again. Bruno informs Snuka that Jerry Lawler is scheduled to appear at the Montreal Forum on November 17 for a major main event as Brody & Hansen will wrestle the team of Lawler & NWA World Champion Ric Flair so he's gonna have to wait. But Snuka must behave if he wants to get his hands on UWF World Champion and he has to promise to not screw up this major main event on November 17. Snuka says he'll do his best but he can't guarantee anything. Bruno responds that if he doesn't behave, he'll be out of work here! -Up next, 6-Men Tag Team action as The Creatchman Family of The Great Samu & NWA World Tag Team Champions Botswana Beast and Lord Humongous tackles the team of Finnegan Paddon, Joshua Russel & Nevil Riley. Needless to say that this didn't go well for the enhancement talents as the Creatchman Family showed no mercy. The Great Samu scored the win on Joshua Russel with the top rope splash. After the match, The Creatchmans, father and son, bragged about being the most dominant faction in Lutte, despite what the Bolsheviks would say. There's a reason why he manages the NWA World Tag Team Champions and he's already looking forward to head into Starrcade in December to show Mid-Atlantic what they're all about. The Creatchmans are interrupted by Hillbilly Jim, Gilles "The Fish" Poisson and Jos LeDuc, who wanna challenge the Creatchmans to a fight anytime, anyplace. The Brain says that they got strength-in-numbers and they'll annihilate them but Jos LeDuc promises they'll eventually collide and they'll show them right now that they can be a cohesive unit! -Another 6-men tag is next as Hillbilly Jim, Gilles Poisson & Jos LeDuc take on the team Benj Morris, Hal Butts & Kiaran Dean in an Elimination tag style match. As expected, this was somehow expeditive as Jim, Gilles & Jos successfully go for the clean sweep. But another trio was watching along: Alexis Smirnoff, Boris Zhukov & Baron Von Raschke were watching from the broadcast booth and the broadcast team are hyping a possible turf war in Lutte Internationale! -Up next, Chris Benoit & Steve Strong team up to take on The Rougeau Brothers. As the match progresses, we're informed that we'll have footage of Jacques Rougeau's title defense vs Black Bart in World Class Championship Wrestling in the upcoming weeks. The Rougeaus score the victory after Jacques pinned Benoit with La Bombe Rougeau. After the bout, Jacques & Raymond vow to beat the Pringle Dynasty at their own game this weekend in Amarillo, TX! And if anyone else in World Class want to challenge him for the NWA Canadian International Heavyweight Championship, he'll be glad to oblige! -Next on the card is "Ace" Bob Orton battling Strong Machine 3, who seems to be alone. Billy Robinson is at ringside with Sherri Martel and Sherri has with her the teddy bear that was given to her last night in Lindsay, ON during Billy Robinson's match vs Masked Confusion #2. Nothing really of note other than Orton pinning Strong Machine #3 with a piledriver. After the match, the Sensationals are headed to the broadcast booth. Sherri tells Billy that he doesn't have to be secretive anymore and he can say that he's behind all those gifts. Billy answers that he swears he isn't behind it and he has no clue who it is. Bob Orton corroborates Billy's version and says they spend all of their time together recently and why he really appreciates what she's doing for them, he's not the one sending gifts to Sherri. Sherri seems to be upset but Ace promises they'll get to the bottom of this to calm her down. -In the semi-main event TV slot, "Mr. Electricity" Steve Regal battles "Polish Power" Ivan Putski. The broadcast team hypes their history while working AWA and they also hype Rick Martel's current appearances in the AWA, defending the AWA Canadian Championship for them at the moment. Regal is doing his best to keep up with Putski's brute strength but after a while, Putski takes down Regal with his Polish Hammer to score the victory. Postmatch, Putski shows some mean streak by beating up on Regal some more before Bruno Sammartino comes out and physically removes Putski from Regal. Bruno tells Putski that he needs to stop acting like an animal because he's better than that. Putski tells Bruno that if he wants to see what an animal is like, put him in a cage next week and then he'll show him what an animal is like. Putski says if Bruno wants to get rid of undesirable people in Lutte, he'll need an animal like him. Just tune in next week and he'll see. -Main Event time as Prince Alofa Fatu squares off against Boris Zhukov. Both stables are at full force at ringside and referee Adrien Desbois makes sure with everyone involved that this will not get out of hand. A pretty rugged match for a main event this week as the experience level seems to favor Boris Zhukov as the match progresses. But with 2 Creatchmans at ringside, it doesn't take long before they get involved in the fray and Fatu gets some much needed leverage. As we near the end of the TV time limit, all hell breaks loose after Fatu is thrown outside of the ring and The Great Samu shoves Alexis Smirnoff, who wanted to take some liberties on Fatu. And a massive brawl erupts outside, causing referee Adrien Desbois to stop the match! And like if it wasn't chaotic enough, Hillbilly Jim, Gilles Poisson and Jos LeDuc join the melee and we have a 3-team brawl all over the studio! How can Bruno Sammartino & Frank Valois fix this mess up??? Tune in next week! À LA SEMAINE PROCHAINE SI DIEU LE VEUT!

Postmatch, Bruiser Brody delivers a beating on both Charland & Frenchy and he then takes the mic. He says that Lefebvre, Charland & Frenchy have now forced him to do something that he thought he'd never do; Bruiser will have to resort to ask for outside help from the man he despises the most in the world. Bruiser asks Mad Dog how big of a chance he's willing to take tomorrow night in Vancouver. Bruiser challenges him to find two men other than Charland & Frenchy to team with him while he will join forces with Stan Hansen and.....ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER???? Bruiser is making a deal with the devil tomorrow night!!!!

SirEdger
October 27th, 1985 Vancouver, BC Guest Referee - Bruno Sammartino: Chris Benoit upsets Baron Von Raschke. Postmatch, Baron tries to apply the Claw on Benoit for revenge but Bruno locks in the Baron in a bearhug instead! -Prince Alofa Fatu (w/"Pretty Boy" Floyd Creatchman) beat "Hollywood" John Tatum in 15:19 Quebec Heavyweight Championship: Bob Backlund beat Hillbilly Jim in 9:58 to retain -Ivan Putski & Richard "Le Magnifique" Charland beat Ole & Arn Anderson by DQ in 22:25 after Arn hit Putski with a chair in the back. Charland chose to walk away rather than help Putski, leaving the Polish Hammer to fend for himself against the Andersons! 6-Men Elimination Tag: Mad Dog Lefebvre & NWA World Tag Team Champions The Creatchman Family (w/Eddy "The Brain" Creatchman) beat Bruiser Brody, Stan Hansen & Abdullah the Butcher. Mad Dog Lefebvre was the last man remaining for his team against Bruiser Brody & Abdullah the Butcher (Stan Hansen was counted out while brawling with Lord Humongous) when Abdullah turned on Bruiser Brody by planting a fork on his forehead! Abdullah then got DQed when he shoved referee Adrien Desbois. Bruiser eventually passed out from losing too much blood, allowing Mad Dog Lefebvre to score another huge victory over Bruiser Brody! Looks like things are far from being settled between Lefebvre & Brody and Brody should've never trusted Abdullah!

GeneJackson95
Great series of shows here...excited to have the Rougeaus appearing for World Class this weekend!
dawho5
Martel and Funk for 50 minutes sounds great! Brody and Abdullah was never gonna work, I'd have to agree. Seems like this month the focus is very much on the Rougeaus, where last month it was squarely on Martel. I do like both the Raymond and Jacques arcs this month.
