Not bad, considering the limitations I guess. The Cena match just looks way out of place with some of the other stuff though.

I'm not sure I like the idea of a seven-year stretch (1989-1996) being represented by like what, five matches? I know there were some unsavory champs during that time, but Savage had some entertaining defenses, as did Bret during his first run.

Hmmm....

Here's the original survey, which oddly enough is still votable, it appears.

And the list Sek posted (the matches with italics are ones that I've noticed don't appear on the survey (eihter fully, or different dates), which means either the voting was full of shit, they didn't like the results of the voting, or they had to adjust things for time reasons).

Ugh... these DVDs are really starting to annoy me. Stop double and triple dipping on matches already. Every DVD they release has at least 1 or 2 matches that's on another DVD. That Hogan/Sheik match has to have been on at least 6 DVDs over the last 4 years.

I'm also annoyed that Race/Backlund didn't make it as I voted for that one.

Seems like the voting was shit...

Eras go 1970: 4 matches, 1980: 7 matches, 1990: 5 matches, 2000: 8 matches

His appeal to the Hispanic community was the sole reason for his title reigns, no?

I picked this up today.  The best part about this is they show highlights of all the title wins and you can see the total apathy of the fans during the first 3 HHH title wins.

I noticed that too. Funny shit.

As for Morales, he was pretty below average, but look at his win and see the crowd jumping up and down. Really, as much as I hate to say it, that's all that matters. It was a different era, mind you, and I don't think his stuff, nor the finish of that match, would get over today, but it worked then.

By the time I started watching the WWF, Pedro was already halfway between midcarder and jobber. I always had a hard time squaring that he was a former world champion.

What's funny about that is his skills hadn't even deteriorated.  He always sucked.
