That's as good an argument as any that people take this way too seriously. How much is it really worth stressing out over if Omega makes it in when the people actually going in get nothing in return, if they're even aware of it in the first place? The comparisons with the baseball and WWE HOF's end with the fact that those have actual ceremonies attended by the inductees and others besides a small niche of newsletter voters.

I was going to argue against this, but then I put the numbers in the inflation calculator and that comes out to 35k a year in 2018 money, which is just insanely low. Yikes.

Well, I think the difference is that Jimmy Hart was basically the #2 guy in the Memphis territory and a PC talent is a PC talent.

Wonder if Moolah gets put back on soon.  She's actually never been a Historical candidate since her career went deep into the 80s.  This probably wasn't the year, but like her or not, she got decent vote totals and was very close to being elected a few times.
