The match went a bit too long for me, but Page got made today imo. The fans made it clear that they were behind him and he is their guy.

I liked the women's title match a lot. Nyla is becoming really really good.

I don't mind stuff like that. It's a new promotion- treating its stars like stars at every opportunity is crucial.

0/2 tonight for title matches that didn't make me wish I was doing something else. I'm glad Page won and was made tonight but it didn't take 15 minutes of nearfalls and garbage MOVEZ~ to get it done. Nyla is fucking dangerous and will hurt somebody soon, Statlander carried her kicking and screaming to a "watchable by 1996 standards" midcard match. 

Sammy, Darby, and MJF are money.

This match could have been better, but as the first match of a feud, I thought it was fine and served its purpose well.

That match was a bunch of smoke and mirrors and not much else. The thing about Cody is that he's great at the big picture stuff but not so great at the little things that take it to the next level.

Absolutely loved the tag title match. So many great moments throughout and I dug that they did include a lot of selling for a match of that style.

MJF popping out of two crossrhodes was a bit much but solid match.

Now comes the match where people who only know Orange from AEW find out he's actually a good wrestler.

This is the first time Pac has truly looked and felt like a bastard. I am liking this match.

Given how little Orange has done in AEW wrestling wise he is still just as over as when he started

Meanwhile JR doesn't give two shits about this match and is showing it

This match is the ultimate fuck-you to all the old farts who hate things that weren't done in 1985 yet are over in 2020.

Tony having the time of his life calling this match makes it 100x better.

I think Cassidy is actually quite good at both bumping and showing fire in a comeback. I am not surprised at all that he is as over as he is.

what a match. Orange is over as hell, gotta be top 2 or 3 in crowd reactions. Amazing comeback sequences

If ever there was a case of changing the booking on the fly, that match would have been it.  PAC losing wouldn't have hurt him and Orange winning would have blown the roof off the place

Still a damn good match.  Anybody that doesn't think Orange is a worthy wrestler is a moron who probably tags Cornette all day

I absolutely loved this match. This crowd being so hot has really helped make this event feel special.
