Bushwacker Butch passes away

Luke and Butch were in their mid 40s when they started with the WWF and lasted all the way till 1996.

he traveled to LA this weekend for signings and became ill on Friday or so.

Just recently finished their new book, and came to realize what remarkable careers they really had.

Some of my earliest wrestling magazine memories were seeing the Sheepherders in bloody barbed wire matches looking like the most sadistic bastards ever. Imagine my surprise all those years later when the Bushwackers showed up. That they got over doing both is a testament to how good they were.

Got a Bushwackers foam finger gimmick at the first show I ever went to in about ‘89.  Loved the Sheepherders stuff I saw when I got older, too.  RIP.
