SirEdger
There's no way both Punk and Cody won't make heavy pitches to Triple H to get Ricky Starks.
sek69
Lucha Bros to WWE seems to be all but a done deal. Konnan's been doing victory laps since he has beef with AEW for their guys getting announced for AAA shows and pulling out at the last moment. Honestly I'm not sure how great a move that will end up being since it seems even in the Hunter Era the ceiling on a lucha guy is being part of a stable with Rey. KawadaSmile
I actually think it is a far better deal for the Lucha Bros than it is for WWE. I don't wanna say Penta's bad or anything, but he's clearly peaked years ago and has been going through the motions for quite a while. If the Fed got the money for them, good. If they can turn it up against teams like DIY (yuck) and Bloodline Wolfpac, at least there's some in-ring output, put I don't expect much. sek69
Reportedly WWE is offering more or less the same money as AEW, so if they are jumping for the potential of more opportunity I'm not sure it's going to work out that way. 57 minutes ago, KawadaSmile said: I don't wanna say Penta's bad or anything, but he's clearly peaked years ago and has been going through the motions for quite a while. While this has been the case in AEW, it very much has not been the case elsewhere. In fact he just main evented at Arena Mexico a few weeks ago and looked every bit the guy who was so super over years ago

Just think about the possible amount of money Penta could get when WWE starts selling replicas of his mask. That alone will be worth the Lucha Bros to make the jump to WWE. KawadaSmile
Roman working babyface again. This is what I'm FUCKING TALKING ABOUT!
sek69
Amazing after all these years Roman is finally the super mega over babyface they always wanted.
NintendoLogic
Does Roman now become the Sammartino to Cody's Backlund or do they go in a different direction? Having to figure out what to do with two mega-over babyfaces is the kind of problem any promotion would love to have, but it is an interesting conundrum. Coffey
It feels like Charlotte Flair has been gone forever. What's the timetable on her return? She's been gone since last December? I know that Charlotte has already pretty much done everything in WWE but the current champions being Liv Morgan & Nia Jax had me clamoring for her return. Give me Roman vs GUNTHER after the big European beats Cena at WM41.

His presentation is pretty standard snooty Euro in America, it just happens to be with German/Austrian instead of British or French. A German speaker using "kampf" shouldn't be seen as some Nazi dogwhistle. Kampf is used in pretty much all sports in Germany, particularly combat spots. Because that's like...the word for fight/battle/struggle/combat.  Like is Gunther's presentation really that much different from Regal's when he was being taken seriously? I agree completely. The comments here and in other forums are classic Germanophobia where any negative connotations related to Austrians/Germans just have to draw Third Reich parallels, followed up by people filling in their own blanks by projecting ideological ideals onto specific elements. Equating the snobbery and talk of sanctity of the mat with Nazi concepts of racial hierarchy and purity is plain ridiculous. Like you said, if it was any other European, people wouldn't even bat an eye.

I would assume she's close to a return. It might be a matter of timing as Triple H seemingly wants to space out some debuts and returns. With the "season premieres" coming up next month, I wouldn't be surprised if Charlotte returned around that time.
sek69
I absolutely expect Charlotte to show up when Raw moves to Netflix since they seem to be pulling out all the big guns for that one.
sek69
Also the timetable for ACL tears is usually around a year, which means she probably not going to be doing much in ring stuff until then.
