Timbo Slice
My hope is that with the TV deal now in place, the placement of bigger deal shows gets better. Part of why Grand Slam deteriorated over four years was because it isn’t nearly as important as shows two weeks before and two weeks after it, so place it elsewhere so it can be big again. Just a quick reassessment, man.
sek69
We sure Nigel wasn't secretly wrestling somewhere all these years? That sure didn't look like a guy who's been out of the ring for over a decade. I know its not on the level of their previous classics but they sure took us back to the classic ROH days. sek69
Hook retiring the FTW in NYC was a nice way to wrap things up and was a good little TV moment with Tazz.
sek69
Yooooo.... MVP coming out and basically announcing the Hurt Business is in AEW was a nice surprise
Jmare007
So glad MVP and the Hurt Business are gonna be in AEW, they are gonna be a dope addition. Nigel was impressive as hell for a 20 minute match after 13 years. I hate that I'm still upset about this Mox shit, I just can't get passed it. sek69
I know that because Bryan is Bryan anything is possible, but it doesn't really seem like Mox is going to be the one who retires him.
Timbo Slice
Nigel seemed like he was a bit apprehensive early, rightfully so, didn’t want to lay it in for whatever reason, but it got good towards the end. Definitely below the matches they had in their heyday, but was fun to see them play the hits. Nigel becomes very interesting going forward now. Wouldn't be shocking if the point here is Mox almost killing Bryan, getting belt and by late 2025/early 2026 -with Mox's reign long gone- they run it back with Dragon returning. I just don't want a heel Mox title reign, sick of the company always going back to him as champ. The fact they have this Danielson story for literally anyone else(worth a damn, of course) that could use it just makes it worse, lol. Stiva
Haven’t watched yet but the spoilers for Collision make it sound like they’re doing exactly what they should with Rush which is exciting. Also, I assume we’re getting the CC this year? If so, how do I make it so Hechicero is in it?
sek69
Even with news like this and Jericho main eventing the Anniversary Show, CMLL continuing to maintain a relationship with a US company is by far the most improbable part of this whole partnership. sek69
Also it looks like Swerve had a case of TK-itis and spilled the beans about a Fox deal: "We’re about to move,” he said. “We’re about to get on Fox. SmackDown is leaving Fox. And then we’re taking Fox…TNT, TBS, and Fox. We got all three of them things. Tony Khan lets me do whatever the f*** I want. He owns the Jacksonville Jaguars.”
MoS
That last line is such a non-sequitor lol
EnviousStupid
Bryan's gotta be one of the few guys who can realistically be called the best in the world and actively refuses to carry himself like such. Working a competitive 20-minute match with an old rival whose been retired for almost 13 years only further illustrates my issue with it. Surprised at how much of the tag match serviced Kyle Fletcher and elevated his standing. Maybe they have something in mind for him when AEW come to Brisbane? I'd think Mark Davis would be fit to return by that point. Darby just can't help take sick bumps.

As a Titans fan, I love but at the same time, it's not like The Titans are in a better position since they are probably going to lose on Monday Night Football against The Dolphins who are starting a 3rd string QB that was just signed. sek69
The Jags are (and have been for a while) a mess, but he's still an NFL owner and I'm almost positive that was a subtle jab at Vince and his inability to "disrupt" football like he's tried twice to do.
