Loss
Looks like a pretty good collection. It will be nice to have some of this stuff in DVD quality. I would have liked to have seen the dueling Rock/Eddy Guerrero promo here, but it wasn't so much a hugely memorable segment as it was a really great one, and you take what you can get with these things. Jingus
Weird how they rush through 2000-2004. Only eleven segments and zero matches from that timeframe. I can understand skipping stuff like Invasion and the Quadruple H era, but there were still decent little hidden gems in the middle of all that crap. sek69
Ha.......they have little pop-up video style facts during the segments, and during the "Shawn loses his Smile" bit they have one pop up saying "Michaels has relinquished more titles than anyone on the WWE roster". Which is true of course, but made me go all "OH SNAP" when I saw it. *edit* wow it's great having the original Y2J debut on DVD. The pop when "JERICHO" appears on the Titan Tron is one of the most visceral moments in wrestling history.
Al
Great set. I can't complain about missing some stuff, cutting the history of Raw to nine hours is a daunting task.
artDDP
On this set they leave in Triple-H calling Chris Jericho "that sawed-off midget!"
jdw
Only 1 listing for all of 2000 is pretty strange. This is really strange as Trip finally got over in due to his feuds with Mick and Rock following the feud with Vince to close 1999 (i.e. the Wedding Stuff). The really was Trip and Steph in their prime, and you would think someone putting this together would focus a number of segments on Jan-Aug 2000. Of course there's a lot of Kurt in there, and they wouldn't want to make him look good. Also it's Mick and Rock, who there is no love for in Trip's circle. And perhaps there aren't a ton of things as memorable as the Beer Bath. But still, it's a strange period to duck. John
artDDP
Strange, too, when you consider how complete the SNME set was and none of the matches were clipped.
