Loss Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 Vote for the wrestler that you think had the better career in WWE (whether you base that on impact or match quality is your decision), from 1985 to 2005. Voting will end tomorrow morning. Please give the wrestler's name first and any explanation thereafter. Thanks.
Loss Posted May 6, 2005 Author Report Posted May 6, 2005 Demolition Smash He got over in his role. Randy Orton didn't.
Marty Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 Demolition Smash Part of a memorable tag team in the late 80s. Orton? Hardly anything memorable...yet.
goodhelmet Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 To be honest, I have only seen Orton in a few matches and he hasn't impressed me. Any heat he generated last year is thanks to Foley. Smash
Coffey Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 Randy Orton I can't vote for a tag team wrestler against a solo wrestler. Even if Orton hasn't done all that much.
Ray Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 Randy Orton I enjoyed him quite a bit before WWE ruined him with a rushed face turn.
Guest Some Guy Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 Orton. Smash's impact came only as a team and since it was a heavily gimmicked team I don't give him as much credit.
Guest Bruiser Chong Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 Smash. He, as Loss already pointed out, was legitimately over in his role. Just because you're handed everything doesn't equate to true success. Orton is a mediocre worker and speaker who's just had luck in his short, unimpressive career.
Guest KingPK Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 Smash. What, Crush didn't make the cut? I'm saddened.
