Loss Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 Vote for the wrestler that you think had the better career in WWE (whether you base that on impact or match quality is your decision), from 1985 to 2005. Voting will end tomorrow morning. Please give the wrestler's name first and any explanation thereafter. Thanks.
Loss Posted May 6, 2005 Author Report Posted May 6, 2005 Jeff Jarrett Better matches in the time frame specified, overall. Backlund's 1994 heel run was incredibly fun, but Jarrett was just as good from 1994-1996, even if his second run wasn't quite as good.
Marty Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 Bob Backlund Got over quicker with the Mr. Bob Backlund gimmick than all the different attempts at gimmicks that Jarrett's had. Backlund was still fairly good in the ring in 1994, too.
goodhelmet Posted May 6, 2005 Report Posted May 6, 2005 I'm going with Backlund also. For as many pushes and attempts to get Jarrett over, and to fail as many times as he did, I am not giving this guy anything. Backlund
Al Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 Jeff Jarrett Had a good heel run, while Backlund really just had a good month or two.
Guest The Man in Blak Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 Jeff Jarrett I need to wash my keyboard now.
Guest KingPK Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 MISTER Bob Backlund Man, what did he call people when he was a heel? Plebean?
Guest treble Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 Jarrett. I was a sucker for his Double J stuff when I was a kid and his woman beating run was a guilty pleasure of mine.
