Vote for the wrestler that you think had the better career in WWE (whether you base that on impact or match quality is your decision), from 1985 to 2005. Voting will end tomorrow morning. Please give the wrestler's name first and any explanation thereafter. Thanks.

I tend to think Jake is largely overrated, but again, the bracketing is shit, because neither guy deserves to be eliminated twice in first-round decisions.

I think Rhodes is a better worker and has been more interesting for a longer period of time than Roberts. After Jake's initial face turn, he wasn't nearly as interesting until he turned heel again in 1991 and he had that embarrassing 1996 run too.

Jake the Snake Roberts

-His heel run in the late 80s was great... Feuds with Seamboat, Savage, and Andre.

-His middle run where he was in the 6 man tag at MAnia was forgettable from the footage I have seen.

-His 1996 run is the sole reason Austin 3:16 became a household catchphrase.

Jake the Snake.

Both guys were great as heel and face competitors, but you have to give credit to Jake for being suave enough to get fans to loathe him, love him, and then loathe him once again.
